This place has EVERYTHING! My boyfriend, dog, and I took a weekend trip down from Chicago and City Limits was everything we could have wanted. It was 4th of July weekend and we just finished hiking at Starved Rock. We stopped by City Limits around 4PM with our dog and went inside to meet the wonderful owner, Karen. We asked if we could sit outside with our dog and she instantly made a large bowl of dog water (her doggie cocktail!) and let us sit out back. We realized there was an entire backyard with tables and a big stage set up where bands would play later. There was also a BBQ pit outside with pulled pork. The most friendly people — it felt like we were at a friend’s house. Can’t wait to go back!
