Books are 5 for $ 1. Pretty good selection overall. This store seems well put together and the staff is generally very friendly. It is worth checking in often as the selection changes. I would say once a month you will generally find a pretty decent flip in inventory.

This is probably the nicest Salvation Army I think I’ve ever been to. This place is HUGE! I stumbled on this place completely by accident this morning, and I’m super glad I did. The store itself is clean, well lit and has the biggest selection of stuff I’ve seen in a while. Everything here is super organized, with wall to wall stuff. Did I mention clean and well organized? I tried on a bunch of stuff today, and walked out with two really nice Columbia sweatshirts. I really love this place, and it’s worth the extra few miles when I’m on this side of town. Tons of women’s clothes to choose from, mens as well along with kids stuff too. I plan on coming back here in the future. Finally found a good Salvation Army that is clean, well stocked and has an awesome selection of stuff to choose from!

Always have had good look finding great items at this location, among my favorites are an Anne Klein wool coat and a cashmere sweater, great prices too! All the clothes are in good shape and clean.

I like this location. It’s in the old Media Play space. Remember Media Play? I love all the furniture they have. I’m big into buying old stuff and sprucing it up. At this point hubby has instituted a firm«we really don’t have space for any more painted tables» rule but I still like to look. Something about 70’s coffee tables makes my heart skip a beat. A few months ago I found a green pepper for my glass fruit collection. Yes I have a bowl of glass fruit on my table. I love it. Don’t judge me. Glass fruit rules! anyway.. . I found the elusive green pepper for only $ 2.00 and walked out of there feeling like I’d just won the lottery. so go take a look around. You never know what you might find!

I know comparison breeds contempt, but here it goes anyways. Ive been spoiled by the 5 star service, always provided at Auburn & John R & the 15 Mile & Dodge park location Today I pull in around 4:42 pm two young men /employees standing in the drop off area, will not move to let me in… finally they move & moved so far away, there was no one there to off load the TV’s &2 dressers? So I ring the bell, and another gentleman comes out, go to grab the TV& bails after trying to lift it. Another Gentleman came out, looked at him shook his head, grabbed the TV& provided me a receipt I unloaded the dressers. Just an off day I suppose.

By far my favorite Salvation Army store in the local area, due to the gigantic size and volume of stuff to choose from inside. Pretty clean and nice for a SA. Prices seem to be in line with the other local SAs, with the same great weekly half-price and 5 for 5 sales, plus 25% student discounts on Thursdays. The selection is awesome! The only downside is that I can happily browse and try things on for hours and lose track of time.

Stopped by this Salvation Army retail outlet to look around. This is a pretty large store and it has a lot of clothing items. Women’s section is pretty big, children’s is big, too. I know, because I had to walk around them or through them to get to the men’s clothing section. The men’s clothing section isn’t quite as big. A section for books, another section for audio CDs, a section for home furnishings, etc. Nice layout, good selections available, especially if you’re looking for female apparel. Tuesday is Military day; Wednesday is Senior day — 25% off.

When did the salvation army become more about the money than the people? Prices are becoming outrageous and they eBay all their items and mark them as so! They have taken the fun out of treasure hunting and out of finding a good deal. I understand overhead and such but now I just refuse to go!

A very large, clean store. I like to stop in here and browse around. LOTS of everything. From jewelry to furniture to books and bric-à-brac. Rows of kitchen what-nots. Wait ’til you see the RACKS and RACKS of clothes. This one is off Hall Rd. in the back of the shopping center near the Dick’s Sporting Goods store.
