The Dev

This is my favorite spot to have a drink and catch up with friends. They are one of the only places in Utica to see live music or djs, and the food is amazing. If you’re in the Utica area and are looking for a place to relax I totally recommend The Dev.

Awesome bar! Bartender is super friendly, they have wonderful draft beer, variety of music performances on Saturdays and a great crowd!
Very mellow and not too rowdy, this is the type of venue I like. Will definitely come back foe their paninis and to support the bartender :-)

I am always looking for new places to try out in Utica. I’ve lived in the area about a year and I have so much faith that Utica has a lot of heart and will turn around and be an up and coming place really soon…
As a recommendation I had lunch here for the first time. I’m sorry I waited so long. I started with the fish tacos which was delicious but too light for my belly but who can beat $ 6 for two tacos? Then I had the 3 cheese grilled cheese which sent my mouth on a roller coaster of different flavors in every bite. It was amazing. My friend ordered the utican which was turkey, salami, provolone and utica greens. She loved every bite of that too. I would recommend this place for sure to all my friends.
I can’t wait to come back and have a few drinks here. The staff makes it feel very homie and welcoming.

There aren’t really any other places in Utica that fill the niche that the Dev does. A great bar, great people, great food and they always always always have the best in local music. Long live the Dev!

The Dev is one of my favorite bars in Utica, and one of the best spots for local music. They always have good DJ’s, a ton of great bands, and the drinks are made right. Never disappointed!

The Dev always has a variety of live entertainment, beers, great bartenders and lunch specials.

Really cool hangout spot. It has a really chill atmosphere and they frequently bring in local bands for live music. They also have free darts available when there’s no band playing. As for the most important factor, the beer selection, I was pretty impressed with what is available on draft. There are only 5 – 6 taps but they are all flowing with a diverse selection of delicious local brew.

Great food, nice atmosphere, great staff. The Dev is totally improved on in every aspect from past incarnations. I haven’t been in for drinks or live music yet but will be soon. Totally recommend The Dev!

It is that corner bar. Bad food, no selection of drinks and beer. One star local hole in the wall.
