Great wine but as of 6÷20÷15, they were closed when we arrived. The sign was gone and a gate across the drive. It’s a shame.

A friend and I visited the winery in late Dec, GPS got us lost but the owner helped us get turned back around and to the winery via phone. Driving up the path you aren’t sure what you are going to find but at the top of the hill sits an adorable winery with hills of surrounding vines. The owner was very knowledgeable about her wines and poured generous tastings, she even offered our driver a bottle of water. We were planning on visiting another near by winery, the owner called ahead for us and got the other winery to open us for us. Their wines are very good and reasonably priced($ 8 Vidal Blanc and $ 11 Traminette, reds were similar in price). We will definitely be back in the Spring! It’s worth the drive out of Columbus

The wine is OK The setting isn’t bad The help could use a lesson in customer service and manners We are ½ mile away and thought we would give it a try. The people behind the bar were rude and snooty. We werent regulars and the treated us like that mattered Not sure we will return. There is another winery toward Granville and the staff there are wonderful

OK, OK. Yes this place is nearly an hour away from Columbus — and who likes traveling that far away for wine anyway(mama needs a drink now!) — but it is totally worth a visit! When I finally arrived after my far journey, I’ll be honest and say I was surprised. It totally looks like a little winery smack in the middle of Oregon or California. You drive up a winding dirt road past the vines and end up at a little wood cabin on a pond. Park and enter through the front doors to a picturesque, bi-level tasting room that is warm, cozy and über comfortable. I couldn’t wait to crack open a bottle. My friend had Otter Creek wines at her wedding so when it came time for us to celebrate our birthdays we didn’t hesitate to make the trek here. The wines are from Ohio grapes so honestly it’s not my favorite tasting wine, but they do have great options! You can do a tasting or order a bottle of your favorite to enjoy in the tasting room. You can also BYOS(bring your own snacks)! Perhaps one of the most surprising things is that the place was hoppin’ on a Thursday night! There were at least two dozen more people who came in/out of the winery during the two and a half hours we were there, including another birthday party! I can’t wait to see this place in the spring/summer! That back deck along the pond looked amazing!
