Just had the most delicious hot cross buns in my life. They were still warm and soooo tasty. It’s nice to see Baggs Square coming back to life. I would have liked to try the bread but I’m just passing through town. If I still lived in this area, I would return on a regular basis.
Now I have another thing to add to my must get list in Utica. The others are tomato pie, greens, chicken riggi, half moons from Holland Farms, and of course kielbasa from the Polish store on Lenox Ave.
Update– I did get a sour dough bread on my way out of town, and it is great. Very tangy just how I like my bread.
However the hot cross buns were not as good on Monday morning as they were from the previous day. It seems that they make them on Sunday mornings so get there then for the warm buns, which are terrific.
