Had the lunch special Mongolian beef. Food came out quick and the beef was actually really tender.

This is one of the best oriental food restaurants in Uvalde they do not use msg or any kind of food supplements that are not normal or natural they have a very good flavor on most of everything that they serve and their service people are very knowledgeable or will find out for you if they don’t know themselves I recommend this restaurant very highly

No reason to travel for good Chinese food when this place is right down the road. Always delivers satisfying food and the owners couldn’t be friendlier people. Always enjoy stopping by and grabbing a bite to eat here!

Decent food and big portions — the flavor and cooking style isn’t what I am used to but for Uvalde, this place did its job.

I was visiting for 2 days in this small little town, and I could not find any Asian restaurants around here, but Hong Kong was the nearest right next from the hotel where I was staying. Before I was heading out there, I was little hesitant due to the two negative feed-backs from here, but I said«O-well, just give it a shot.» It was a wall in a hole type of restaurant, yet the waitress was pretty kind enough. I’ve ordered sweet and sour pork, egg drop soup, and Hunan beef. Surprisingly, the food was very good. Egg soup was little bit salty, but it was edible.

This place has only been open a few weeks. It’s in the location formerly occupied by TCBY in the same building as the Video Store. We arrived about 6:30 last night(Sunday). The place was far from crowded. You can either order from the menu, or opt for the buffet. We opted for the buffet. I can’t say it’s the best I’ve had; but I’ve definitely had worse. The food wasn’t old or rock hard from having sat under a heat lamp all day. At least it didn’t taste like it had. The chef/owner brought out some fresh crab rangoons for us; they were really good. The fried rice had bits of what I’m guessing is pork along with bell pepper and onion which was crunchy and not cooked all the way through. I guess that’s my only complaint about the food… the rice. Anyway, try this place out. It’s definitely better than the other place in town. I went in again the following Saturday for lunch, and let me just say this; If you’re wondering where all of the overly obese people hang out for lunch, this is it. I’ve never seen that many fat people gathered in one place at the same time before. And on a side note, I’m sure the chairs are built sturdily.
