Aegean Tire Center

I went here for a transmission fluid change and they ended up never changing the fluid. I found out since I started having car trouble a couple weeks later because my transmission fluid was dangerously low and completely black. They charged me over $ 100 for nothing.

I called Aegean Tire Center to see if they could get me a set of Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus Tires. Tom located the tires and had them there the same day. He called me when the tires arrived to let me know he had them in his possession. It was refreshing to have him follow through like that. The following day I had them mounted on my car. They were quick and thorough with the installation, and gave me a detailed receipt explaining the charges. I would highly recommend their shop.

AMAZING!!! BEST PRICES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IN TOWN. I have been purchasing tires from Aegean Tire Center for the last two years. I drive a Roush Mustang with custom rims so tires are not easy to find. Aegean tire center always finds them for me and at the best prices. This morning I woke up to a flat tire. After dropping my car off they inspected the tire for damage and found the car had none. When I went to pick up my car they said there would be no charge. You just don’t find that type of customer service anymore.

Order (4) Toyo tires online Monday for my truck, because Les Schwab was too expensive. Next, I needed a place to install them, which Tires
dropped ship them right to Aegean, Free shipping and they arrived today, Thursday that was fast. I got a call from Tom at 10am and he said your tires arrived would you like to install today? Yes I would, made an appointment at 1:30. I got there and Tom had the paper work ready and put me on the board. My truck went right into the bay, two of the guys in the garage had not gone to lunch so Tom left the counter and was the one to balance my wheels, then Robert asked what air pressure I would like? 40 psi thanks. Great experience with Aegean, they have a nice selection of Michelin & BF Goodrich tires for those looking for tires. My truck with its weight rating needs the 120S which Toyo makes and only tires I have had on it since day one. Tom and Robert made my online buying experience painless and well worth not going back to Les Schwab.

How does it take 30 min to do a simple oil change where there is no one else here… these guys have no idea what they are doing. Also tried to sell me a bunch of extra stuff I didn’t need… I will never ever come here again… horrible customer service

I’ve used this place many times. I’ve had AC work done, I’ve bought 4, no, 8 Michelin tires here. Had Pitman and Idler Arms put in. Oh! and a Distributor… New Brake Rotors and pads…(All this wasn’t done on just one SUV, but three, I think.)
Great Prices, service, the works! Tom is a great guy who doesn’t offer up Junk, but very good Products. (I LOVE the Moog Pitman and idler parts!) When I go for free Tire rotation, Tom gets me in quick with no fuss what so ever! Great place.

I have been to this shop several time since 2006 and the service has always been up to par, but my last experience was exceptional.
I had my A/​C compressor replaced. To start off my work schedule had me under time restraints and they accommodated me without a problem, which was great because it was a small time window. The price was the best I could find, and the work was performed to my satisfaction.
Well I had another issue which I thought was caused by work performed at this shop, and when I brought it back, Tom explained what he believed it was and assured me there work wouldn’t have caused the leak (I was able to confirm this information on my own after the fact). The best part of it is, Tom called me back the next day on his own, and stated there might be something he could do that would fix the leak that would only take a few minutes.
I brought it the next day, the repair was made in minutes while I waited, and he didn’t charge me anything. I feel that is exceptional Customer Service and was really grateful, because the alternative was a 7 hour repair that required my whole dashboard to be removed. Thanks Tom!

This guy Tom that works the front counter quoted me 189 dollars for and alignment just because my car is lowered. I guess he saw me pull up to the parking lot. He claimed that the angles on lowered cars are all messed up and they take a long time to align. While this may be true I am sure the angles on stock height cars are also messed up hence the reason people take their cars In for alignments in the first place. What a ripoff! He even claimed to have the only pit style alignment rack in Vacaville making me think I had no other choice but to get my alignment done there because my lowered car will not clear the ramps at other shops. That was a lie. After going around town and getting quotes for an alignment no other shop quoted me a ridiculous price and when I would ask if they charge extra for lowered cars they would give me a funny look. Sorry Tom after finding out your full of crap I will not be showing up 25mar15 for my 189 $ alignment. I will be going over to A1 tires and getting it done for the regular price of 80 $ less than half of your price. Don’t trust these guys there are other reviews on here that makes me question this guys integrity.

I’ve been here couple times for tires only. The past six months I have been unlucky with tires. The first time I hit a curb which caused a slow leak. A second time I ran over a metal object on the freeway. Both times the puncture was on the sidewall so a repair was not possible. Fortunately this shop has the same factory tire that comes with my 2013 Focus. The prices are very competitive with all the other big name shops in Vacaville. Service is efficient and friendly.

I have been taking my vehicles to Aegean Tire Center for the past 20 years, as well as some of my family and friends. The staff there are always very friendly and informative with the specific issues with my car. I have never felt that they suggest work to be done that isn’t necessary. Their prices of the services are reasonably priced too. Their oil changes also include extra services and are only $ 24.99 with the coupon from The Monthly Grapevine. There are more coupons for other services too so you can save money to keep your vehicle running properly. I will continue to bring my car there and refer others to also.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Tom gave me a quote of $ 1,600+ to fix the leaks on my engine and air conditioning. He didn’t ask me for the parts I wanted to have put into my truck and replaced all of my AC Delco parts with cheap crap. I did not sign the work order which is against the law. They were 4 day after promising an earlier date. He found out the power steering pump needed replacing and did not call and notify me, just put the cheapest crap he could find in.
Once I picked up my truck which seemed to have no power steering, called Tom and asked him why my truck was driving like crap? I asked him if he was supposed to give me options on parts to be replaced? He said yes. Then I asked, «how could you replace all chevy parts with generic junk?»
In the end he top me it would be a few weeks to get the correct parts. I almost got into about 4 – 5 accidents on the highway because the truck drove horribly.
When they finally got the correct parts in, I took my truck to ff chevy and they found another $ 1,554.19 in leaks.
Now I am paring over $ 3,500 to fix leaks on an engine with 270,000+ miles. If I would have had all information up front, I would have installed a crate motor.

They’re nice and take care of you and your services. Only problem is that they’re quiet and don’t tell you if anything is wrong w your car. In and out I guess u can say.

THis place is a train wreck… Run!
First off all I wanted to do was put my Spare on my right front and make an extra tire I had the spare. The super douchy guy in the office was too pretty to touch tires. Made me remove my own spare which I gladly did after he quoted me 40.00 for the work. After I got under my truck and removed my own spare he tried to tell me the tire was «too old «and «by law» he couldn’t switch them, and tried to sell me a new tire. T which I packed up my shit and got out of there. Went a mile down the road and they did the work for 30.00. AND helped me with my spare!
Feel free to ignore the comment from the owner below who seems to think that because there is no record of the transaction that it must have never happened. Lord the hubris.

we’ll never be back. Found out that the new brakes they said they installed and charged us for were never installed.
Makes me wonder if they actually did the other work we paid them for.

These guys are awesome! I have been coming here for years now and nothing but great experiences. Several sets of tires fore multiple vehicles, oil changes and PM. Most recently I took my 68 bug to several speedee oil type places for a simple oil change and tranny flush and all told me they don’t do old cars. Took it to these guys and they hooked me up and tires front end alignment, tranny flush etc. highly recommend these guys and won’t try anyone else!

I just wanted to take a minute to say how great they treated me at Aegean. I had actually had the tire put on elsewhere, however the other place couldn’t put my put my the tire on my alloy wheel, but Aegean was kind enough to fix the problem another shop created and charged me next to nothing. I can see have a lot of integrity, so next time I need work done I’m going to Aegean Tire first!

I heard about this place from a friend and decided to try it. Went here to have my breaks done on my Honda and to my surprise a month later my breaks were making the same noise it made from before I got them done. I went back 3 times and each time they said nothing was wrong and didn’t know why they were still making noise! Finally I went to Honda to have them look and they had to give me new brakes again!!! DON’T even waist money on this place its not worth it they don’t know what there doing just go somewhere else and pay a little more and get it done right.

So I come into this place to see about a set of tires and the idiot was smoking cigarettes in the main office. I’m a healthy guy and workout daily, but I seriously could barely breath when I walked in. I should have walked out, but I thought I would see what kind of deal they would give me. Can I say rip off ! Do your homework and shop around for tires. Don’t event waste your time with this place. Seriously. Smoking in the sales room?

Wow… surprised by the bad reviews. The only thing I can imagine is that when people are satisfied with a service, they don’t feel the need to share. But when dissatisfied, you definitely want to vent.
I am a 26 year old female, and I have been going to Aegean for several years now. I still bring my car here for routine oil changes and tire services, even though I now live in San Francisco. Their oil changes are some of the most competitively priced in town. They sold me four new tires about 2 years ago for much less than what anyone else was offering ($ 230 for 4 tires for a 2005 Jetta).
Because I am a young-​ish female, I always run EVERYTHING by my dad; just to make sure I’m not being taken advantage of by a slimy mechanic. He always agrees that I’m getting a good deal at Aegean. About two weeks ago, I brought my car in because I had one tire with a slow leak. They took a look, fixed the flat (found a nail), and I was out the door in 15 minutes, for only $ 15! The men working in the shop are good ‘ol boys, and they are always friendly, polite, and hospitable. I believe that one of the mechanics, Robert, used to have his own shop over on Davis Street. Through the years, my dad loyally went to his shop for many a vehicle need. When the shop closed and we found out that Robert had moved along to Aegean, we happily followed him there.
My last sanity check that this place is legit — my own dad comes in here for deals on tires for the family vehicles, as well as for his Fed Ex trucks. So based on my experience, I definitely recommend Aegean for basic car needs. If and when something does go wrong with my car, I would definitely consider bringing it here. I trust these guys more than I trust the dealership where I purchased my Volkswagen Jetta!
