Thought we would try this location. Very disappointed foot massage was more annoying then relaxing not enough pressure. And how do you switch therapist in the middle of a massage? For the record you don’t tell people what to tip tips are based on service received not because you say they worked hard. Will not be returning.

My friend was in town for a visit and wanted to get a massage on a budget. I was a little worried about what type of massage parlor this might be. There is no red light and there is a sign at the front desk clearly stating it is a professional establishment with clear boundaries. If you’re looking for a spa experience, this is not the place for you. However, I was in a lot of pain and Nancy did a wonderful job. She did not chat(which I appreciate) but did check in to see if pressure was ok and if she should adjust. My friend said her massage was great too and thinks her masseuse’s name was Lily but she did not speak English so she isn’t sure. The downside of our experience was that it is noisy and the light was bright — not too conducive to relaxation. Suggest they put small water features in the rooms and dim the lights for a more relaxing experience. This review is for the Vacaville location.

Let me explain all the stars: I had a horrible migraine and needed my neck/shoulders/head rubbed bc I had an important appointment in a few hours, so after I grabbed my caffeine and Motrin and it still hadn’t subsided, I decided to try this place for the 30 minute massage for $ 40. I could have sworn the sign outside said the opposite, but again, I was in pain and could’ve read it wrong. Behind the first door there is another black metal screen door that you can’t see thru, but it’s unlocked. A gal came out to greet us and explained«30 minutes, $ 40, plus $ 10 tip, so $ 50, you pay first.» Huh? I was desperate. I even had my daughter with me. At the same time, a man walked in behind me that headed straight to the first room where there was a red light(and he did not pay first like me), caused me to raise the one eye-brow if you know what I mean. But, this place gets 4 stars bc the gal that greeted me worked out every kink in my neck and shoulders! She was so pleasant to my daughter and wasn’t at all bothered by my daughter’s 100 questions, so the fact that I left there pain-free was worth it. The comments about the«space» are about right, but I would have been happy with a plastic chair at that point. I’ve been to spas in Napa and have left disappointed before. I’m glad I didn’t get whatever guy some people have mentioned. I had what seemed to be someone in charge. I would go back again, in the daytime, and only see the same gal again if I needed to.

I’m incredibly disappointed that this place was closed. Despite the door stating that they were opened 7 days a week starting at 10am, walk ins welcome. I called the number and the man on the phone said if I wanted an appointment at 12:15 he would be there. I declined.

Nancy exceeded my expectations! Not only did they get me in last minute, but they offered me a special too. I chose to start off with a simple foot massage & then decided to upgrade to more. I will definitely be back there!

One star cause I have too. Worst massage EVER. Paid to get beat up. Way to much to list but I’ll do important highlights…“lost” our reservation and named off numbers of people who called to see which one was us, the masseuse burped on me while over my face, the light was on the whole time, I was clothed till he started pulling off my sweater, no communication, my husband got 30 min more than me, laughed when I said it hurts(language barrier) I’m sore as hell today. Do not recommend. At all!!!

2 Thumbs down. This place is definately quite odd. Went in to request a massage with my daughter… the lady gave a blank look and seemed reluctant to accommodate us. She acted really strange. She said we don’t have appointment. Then pretended to look at her cell phone for the shcedule but was really on the home screen still. Then said come back at 7 pm, 2 hours later. Was very rude and unwelcoming from start to finish. I don’t feel this place is somewhere I would feel comfortable and relaxed in as I should since this is what they are in the business for. Wirth going to Sacramento and getting $ 20 massage there.

BAD — Cheap massage on Saturday! I was desperately in need of a good massage, and was taking a leap of faith. NO communication, bad massage that just wasn’t getting better thru the hour… & guy followed me to car, expecting/demanding a tip! I gave him minimal. This was just freaky since they asked me to pay up front, before receiving the service. Guess I received the CHEAP — Crap service I paid for… Dont do this one peeps!

Me and my girl friend decided to get massage the other day so we came to Vacaville for foot massage(actually which include head, shoulder, neck and back massage). I think it is a great deal. The staff are very friendly and professional, they know what they are doing. The best part is back massage for 15 minutes. The massie who worked on me seems to know exactly where my knots are. i felt great and relaxed. I will go back for sure.

As someone who cannot normally afford massages, I appreciate that everything here is within my budget. I have tried the 60-minute body massage for $ 45 and 60-minute foot massage(which comes with some head, shoulder, and back massage) for $ 25, and you really cannot beat their prices. Be sure to ask about special promotions! There is a language barrier, but the staff here are friendly.

I gave this place one star because it wouldn’t let me give none… by far the worst experience ever!!! NONOTGOTOTHISPLACE! I came in, not one word. Normally they ask is there a specific area you would like worked on? How would you like the pressure? How is the pressure? Nope not a word. The room was very bright(lights on, I guess a first time for everything). I would be extremely surprised if this guy has a license. His hands were rough, they gave me a small towel to put on my body(which was extremely rough). I thought in the beginning I would give it a little while to see if it would get better and finally built up the courage to end the section. Once I did the manager came in and let me know that I should have spoke up more and told me of course he was licensed(I didn’t see it so really). I explained to her I was uncomfortable and this was like no other massage that I had ever received and I get a massage about 3 times a month. The place was dirty… cobb webs, dirty floors, and the rooms need some work… then she charged me full price… never again…

I called to make an appointment for 1 hour reflexology for 2 people. I was told ok no problem just show up at the Vacaville location and they will take care of you. So I arrived at the Bay Health Spa in Vacaville and the lady says I can’t…come back 30 mins. I said«No, it’s either you can do the massage or not». She says wait then she directs me and partner to a room. She gets the bucket of warm water to soak my feet, leaves the 100 watt light on(ugh how am I suppose to relax) and begins to massage. Oh my… she loads up on the rose scented lotion like there’s no tomorrow which triggered my asthma(not good… thumbs down). She continues with the massage then when it came to my back she acted as if she was a chiropractor trying to crack my back(another thumbs down) then continued to do whatever massage which wasn’t comfortable or relaxing(another thumbs down). It doesn’t end there… my partner waited 20 mins.(who is in the same room) for the other lady to begin her massage. The lady started from her feet and spent majority of the time massaging her feet and legs… never massaged the head, facial, neck and shoulders. Since I was done with my whatever massage I paid the lady and added $ 5 tip for both ladies. When the lady that was massaging my partner heard that the tip was only $ 5 she stopped the massage which means my partner didn’t receive a full hour massage. They insisted I tip them $ 10 each… for what??? NOWAY!!! I would rather tip a «SKILLED» massage therapist $ 10 or more then an unskilled person. I HIGHLYDONOTRECOMMENDTHISPLACE. Be wise and spend your money elsewhere.

This business was not even listed in Unilocal. This is the second location, the first being in Fairfield. I had gone to the Fairfield once after having found it on Unilocal.Only found out about this location when I looked at the spa’s website. The website is not completely updated with Vacaville info throughout the site although the shop is noted on the home page. Anyway, I went here in the afternoon after work and it was dark already by the time I arrived. It’s located in the Golden Hills Plaza where Dollar Tree is or, for you long time Vacaville residents, where Food 4 Less used to be. Ok so it was night time and the blinds are all closed in the front. In most cases, I would have been like«uhhhh, i don’t think so» cuz it might be one of THOSE places but I knew it was legit since I went to the one in Fairfield. This place is pretty bare bones and smaller than the location in Fairfield. The walls are pretty barren and there is like no decoration in the lobby. Maybe it’s like that because they are relatively new. The guy said they have been there for 3 months. I think they should put some plants, some decorations and some paint on the walls to make it more welcoming. I would go with a Chinese theme as they are selling Chinese style massage. I told them I wanted an hour body massage and was promptly taken to the back to a private room. It was a normal massage size room with a bright lamp in the corner so I could see everything. Looked pretty clean but the pillow was not covered so that was kind of ewww. There was a light colored sheet on the table to lay on and a white bath towel to drape over you. I prefer a sheet. There was one small picture on the far wall and an ugly rug to look at through the face donut thing… It wasn’t dirty, just ugly in my opinion. She did a good job on my back. I asked for more pressure on my shoulders and upper back but I think I would have preferred a deeper pressure than what was given(admittedly partly my fault for not elaborating further). It was a decent massage, I was very relaxed during the back portion. When she did my legs however, it hurt! Too much pressure with her thumbs or something. I was definitely awake for that cuz i was like«ouch!» It was too quiet though — I could hear the lady’s breath and i think my tummy was growling. A little instrumental music in the background would have been nice. Anyway it is only $ 45 for an hour for a body massage… SOOOMUCH cheaper than most places. A great value. Would definitely go back. Hope they spruce up the joint and open the blinds in the front to be more open to the public. Closed blinds are shady… lol. If you’re too weary to go into a private room, I know the Fairfield one had a big open area for foot massages with a huge flat screen tv… not sure if they have that in the Vacaville location. Go try it and check prices and specials online. FF location told me you had to print out the coupon but I previously seen in the Grapevine that you could show them your phone but who knows. Prices are great even without the coupon deal.
