ER Direct

This review is getting one stars instead of 5 stars. This last call to ER direct has changed what I thought was the best thing in the world to a pain in the butt. It used to be that I would call and they would have a nurse call you right away. Yesterday I called left them my information and the dispatcher said that they would call me in 10 – 15 mins. 45 mins go by so I call, in the past nurses have missed messages. No big deal, I don’t mind waiting because of the convenience of getting a housecall. They say they’ll send another message and will make sure that she called. Another 45 mins go by with no call. I call them back and repeat this for three hours till the operator says that I need to talk to his supervisor. The supervisor answers the phone apologizing. That’s never a good sign. Apparently there was no one in my area. What? And I had already cancelled my appointment at urgent care because they were sapposto be coming! So now I have no medicine and am still sick because ER direct is understaffed and can’t support my area. Is you’re not going to be available when you’re open close the damn doors till you find enough people to work for you.

How convenient to have a house call!!! I was feeling really blue. Wheezing, coughing, nasty sputum and really terrible body aches. Found about these guys from a coworker and gave them a call. Wonderful Dr Gina Hosking was at my home in less than 30 minutes!!! Awesome service!!! She knows her Stuff!!! I was assessed, diagnosed, treated and scripted in less than an hour!!! And it was the real deal. None of that fly by night gimmick-​type mess!!! SO MUCH FOR SITTING IN THE ED ALL NIGHT!!! I’m never going back! And because I received such competent, professional service, ER Direct just picked up a new patron!!! This service was a wonderful way for me to keep my germs within the confines of my home and receive promp, professional, competent and compassionate care all in one QUICK visit! ER DIRECT ROCKS for URGENT CARE!!! I’m feeling better already!

Used ER Direct yesterday for my son whose eyes were basically swollen shut from allergies and an infection. It was very convenient, the NP had everything she needed to assess him with her including the medications he needed to make him feel better. If you have WHA, use ER Direct, it’s worth it. No waiting in the ER and it’s in the comfort of your home.

Used this service yesterday for my son whose allergies hit an all time high. I called the ER Direct number and within a minute an NP called back and got a quick review of symptoms. She stated she was with a patient at the time but will call back within 30. She called back and gave a time she could be at the house and was here promptly at that time.
She was able to assess, diagnose and dispense a few different meds my son needed to help. All this for a 35.00 co-​pay. Yes, I said 35.00 and this was someone coming to our house, diagnose, treat and meds.
If you live in the Bay Area or Solano county and have WHA (not sure for Bay Area what insurance) you need to call. No waiting in the ED lobby, urgent care clinic which is closed or waiting to get an appointment to see your PCP.
