Let me start with saying that I am a first time mom and have kaiser care for my pregnancy. I have not been happy at all. First of all they give me a different OB every appt. They have judged me since day one because I refuse to take any over the counter or RX meds while pregnant. They have no special recommendations for women who prefer to be as natural as possible for the entire pregnancy. I was sick when I want pregnant and went on to seek advice and help with a doctors note for work. I was seen by Dr. Filarsky. He told me to take all these prescription meds even though I told him I would prefer holistic options, he said if I don’t want to follow the doctors recommendations then i am choosing to be miserable, as I started crying begging him to help me, he walked out of the room and left me in there crying at 35 weeks pregnant. He also told me that I was over weight and «off the charts» without even asking me about my previous weight before pregnancy, my diet or excersize regimens, and also didn’t even suggest anything. Not once has any of the doctors that I have seen tried to really take the time to get to know me, my beliefs, my wants and desires for my baby and my body. I always leave there stressed and rushed out of the office. They referred me to a counsler even though I told them I kindly decline the need a counsler yet they forced me to see her anyways, failing to communicate that I had to be at my glucose test in exactly one hour making me have to come back another day to take it when I had taken the day off for it already. Not once have they cared about my wants and needs. I feel like just a chart number at kaiser. Also when j asked them for the ingredients in the vaccines they were recommending for me, the doctor (dr. Hollison) said that she is not an expert on vaccines and referred me to a government owned website. How the hell are you a doctor and you don’t know anything about a vaccine you are insisting I inject into my my body and my child’s? I didn’t feel comfortable with this at all. I DO NOT recommend kaiser for your prenatal care at all. Next pregnancy I am hiring a midwife. It will be well worth the extra money spent and less stress to have someone who understands and follows your birth plan. I would give this place 0 stars if I could!

I just wanted to tell you about the great service I received from Jasmine at the front desk of Women’s Health, 3^rd Floor, Kaiser Hospital, Vacaville on 9÷3÷15 around 8:20am. I checked in for an audiology appt. for the clinic across the hall. She was fast, courteous and it was REFRESHING that someone at a Kaiser clinic front-​desk would «sign» their work by saying, «My name is Jasmine, if you have any questions». Only someone proud of their work does that.
She and the people who trained her should be commended.

Came in due to choking on a popcorn kernel and aspirating it. It lasted about a minute or more where I could not breathe and nearly fainted.. We were in the waiting room got a room super quick. Uhm did not look busy at all. Look like adequate staffing because there were several nurses and our doctor standing and chatting while we waiting. We waited in the room for an hour with only the reg clerk to sign for paperwork. Finally the doctor and nurse came in. They kept asking me questions and getting distracted and were not listening to my answers due to my 14 month old son saying «hi» and smiling at them and they all were playing with him as I was trying to answer my questions. Then the nurse left the doctor told me I was getting x rays and then the nurse came in and said she had forgot to insert something with an mri for another patient so they left the room without saying anything to me. We waited another hour.. . From the get go it seemed they had no interest in my issue and proceeded right out side my door about their personal lives and how they felt about how they felt about county patients coming there being a hassle for them. I pushed my red call light to see what was taking two and a half hours for an X-​ray and after 10 minutes a nurse who I have not seen yet came in and looked at the orders and said the doctor hadn’t even put the order in yet which was very frustrating. It was very slow and I had already been there for 2 hours. Finally outside my door I see my nurse pass me and gasp and then I hear my nurse ask another nurse if they want to to her patient (which was me) to X-​rays as if she had remembered when she walked pass my door that the X-​ray was ready for me. He agrees and takes me. I finally get an X-​ray. Then come back to my room and another 45 minutes pass. With nothing on what is going on.. The reg clerk for co pay came in and took our payment so when she came back we asked her to grab the doctor. The doctor came in shortly after with a single paper of an apt for the afternoon time 6 – 29 (which actually is the same day) and j said well did they see anything in the X-​rays and she said well we weren’t really going to see anything and I said then why did I wait 3 hours to get it? And she said well we maybe could have but X-​rays don’t always show very well and the apt will be more in depth. And I said well that took very long for X-​rays and she VERY rudely said «pff well welcome to the emergency department» and stormed out.. Nothing on if I was released or if I was getting discharge paperwork or anything. . So I am very curious at this point and get in contact with another lady sitting at a desk and grab the discharge paperwork while the doctor is doing God knows what walking around behind us seeing us ask for the managers name and the doctors name and saying we are very upset.. If kaiser one. Treats patients like that and two. Treats their fellow employees family members that way it’s very disappointing. And clearly the goal of kaiser Vacaville emergency department is not patient care. My husband was appalled because he works at a Kaiser ED and never has seen such mistreatment. The doctors name was Heidi Ladner.

Staff is great and very helpful
Waiting room is hit and miss… Its either busy or not.
Always clean and very professional.
