Kathy is great. Getting an appointment with her is a treat I anticipate. Can’t wait til my next Mani Pedi

I travel extensively and have had my nails done by a myriad of manicurists. Kathy is by far the cleanest and most professional manicurist I’ve ever gone to. Some other points in Kathy’s favor:
1) She uses Shellac (a CND product) and unlike almost every salon out there, she exclusively uses their entire line (not buying cheaper and poorer quality substitutions). Shellac is better for your nails than most other UV systems out there. Also, you don’t have to «pre-​file» shellac before removal, because the acetone alone will remove this product (better for your nails).
2) Kathy uses the CND Shellac polish remover system, which uses the least amount of acetone possible to remove your polish, which means we have less time that chemical is spent against our skin. She is very health conscious.
3) Kathy has the broadest selection of CND colors on the market. I believe she has every color they make. She also has a large selection of the new non UV CND colors, which match the manicure colors (so if you want to do a pedicure with a matching color, it will now match exactly, and you don’t have to use the UV on your toes).
4) Kathy uses the CND recommended UV drying time on your nails (which is a shorter amount of time than most salons use). Putting your hands under the UV lights too long is not good for them, but if done for the shorter recommended times, it is safe. Most manicurists aren’t well versed on the UV drying time recommendations.
5) Kathy is a certified CND Master Pro, meaning she has attended their training classes.
Kathy really knows her stuff, is the CLEANEST manicurist I’ve ever been to, and is really nice to talk to, to boot! I highly recommend her.
