Quinn’s Uniforms

I shop here for my uniforms since they are the only option around. The customer service here is bad and their prices are high. But what can you do… They are the ONLY option in town…

Worth the drive from Sacramento. I called Monday morning about pants I needed and within an hour I had a return phone call from Nicole with the info. Drove out there Tuesday morning and was done with alterations on two pairs of pants with 30 minutes. Good prices, good inventory on hand, great service, not just from Nicole but everybody who was working there today. Nobody was too busy to talk to me or ask me if I needed anything. Mr. Quinn, the owner very nice guy !

I went to Quinn’s looking for boots. Two of their staff were at a counter engaged in a conversation, but immediately stopped and acknowledged me and asked if they could help. So many times I’ve went into places and the staff could not even be bothered to say hello and make eye contact. I wandered over to the boot section and started looking at boots, which is why I went there. The lady that was working in the area stopped what she was doing to see if she could help me.
This is the type of place that makes shopping more enjoyable than a chore. I will definitely go back and gladly spend my $ there.

Zero stars. Stay away people, seriously, if you have other options, do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. They are incompetent, lazy and unappreciative of your business.
My department deals with Quinn’s, and they are my local uniform spot, but almost every special order or alteration I’ve seen or had done personally has had an issue. Just a couple of occurrences off the top of my head, but there have been several others…
Department ordered a couple hundred uniform tshirts to be screen printed, they screwed them up. We worked it out so that we ended up buying the t’s anyways at a discounted price, and use them for PT. We weren’t in the market for a couple hundred PT shirts though, and we had to have our uniform tshirts reordered, of course with additional delay.
More recently I’ve brought my class A jacket in for alteration (service crosses embroidered), handed it over to the woman, and then asked her about the pattern the crosses were supposed to be embroidered (already knowing myself). Of course she didn’t reference their continuity binder that has each departments uniform specs, and she told me the incorrect pattern. I corrected her, and then she pulled the binder and said yeah that I was right. Had I not confirmed this detail, undoubtably it would have been done incorrectly. She told me to come back in 10 days.
Fast forward 10 days, I drive down here from a neighboring city where I live, and come in after 1300. Woman at the counter goes to the back to retrieve my jacket, comes back out and says it’s not done and that the women that do alterations are at lunch and won’t be back until 1400. I say I’ll be back at 1430 and head out to my car. After sitting in my car and texting my wife my displeasure, I head back in to Quinn’s and tell the lady that I’m going to stay in Vacaville and ask her to call me when it’s ready. She tells me they tell folks that pickups are after 1400 on the day quoted, which they didn’t for me, and I voice my displeasure about having to come back after they’ve had my jacket for 10 days. She then has the gall to tell me that I’m lucky, and that they are busy and the wait is now several weeks. Huh, I’m lucky to pay top dollar, for consistently shoddy service and having my time wasted!!!
Sitting in my car in front of Quinn’s, waiting on this call as I type this…
UPDATE:
Embroidery was done well, too bad I had to sit in my car an extra hour so the seamstress could literally finish the last 5 minutes of my alteration after her lunch.
Hey Quinn’s, if you’re so slammed with alterations, maybe you should; 1) hire additional folks, 2) consider not sending both of your seamstresses to lunch at the same time, and 3) post that pickup times will be after 1400 on the days quoted for pickup.
Buyer beware, there are as many bad reviews as good ones, take a moment to read the others, I am not alone.
A final thought Quinn’s, you serve public servants, and just because we are too composed to make a deserved scene in your establishment, doesn’t mean you’re doing a good job.

Let me just say 1 star is not really the rating I want to give for my experience today with the staff at this place today! How about a ZERO star!!!
Came to pick up some uniforms that our company ordered and right from the start the girl behind the counter pulled our account and told me how much was due. I handed her my debit card and with snooty attitude looked at me with her eyebrows raised eyes really big asked this question… DO YOU WANT EVERYTHING IN THIS CARD??? Just because I looked like I don’t have a penny to my name you have to treat customers with respect! Jesus Christ the bill was for $ 1322.22 only. But I know where her attitude came from, she is no different than the rest of the staff in this place!!! They don’t want to help and when they pretend they do. it comes out as very snooty. Im not sure if the staff here are related to Joe (the owner) or close family friends but he seriously needs to evaluate his staff… Maybe because the store is busy and profitable he doesn’t think that he have to make a change. People want to have a good experience when they come in. I know that I will never ever come back to this place!!!

Quinn’s is the best. Very professional and helpful. Great staff! I recommend anyone with uniform needs to take a trip to Quinn’s, very large selection. Also, a lot of scrubs!

At first when my department switched over to black uniform, we had an account with Concord Uniform. I didn’t care for the service at Concord Uniform so I was directed to Quinn’s Uniformed by several co-​workers who have purchased their uniforms there. The service was great at the time. The sales woman was great and was willing to work with me. My uniforms were exactly how I wanted and fit me well. Then recently I have lost about 36 lbs and needed my waist taken in. I asked to have my pant legs tapered and they didn’t do a good job. Then they asked for me to pay first. I said the last time I didn’t pay until I got my product. They said I have to pay first now. I did not like that. Although they have a lot of police gear, I don’t know if I would want to return there to have my other pants altered.

I was hired by The Father’s House to do security in December and needless to say I didn’t have the greatest self image at the time. Much love to everyone there at Quinn’s Uniform for all the help and judgment free environment. While my uniforms took a smidge longer than the other guys I didn’t mind because everyone there cared enough to help me. So awesome and I’ll be back.

Excellent service and products. Small family atmosphere. Defiantly not a chain store meeting numbers…

I had been a cop for over 30 years and had gone to every uniform shop in the north bay. I went into Quinn’s today for my new Dept and they were very helpful. The woman who helped me (Joe?) contacted me as soon as I walked in. She figured out what I needed, had me fitted, then asked how far I had to travel to get there. When I told her it was about an hour drive, she said they could Taylor the uniforms while I had lunch.
Superior service, good quality and well… you know… police uniforms ain’t cheap.

Lesson learned! My husband and I always try to support local businesses over the big chain stores. My husband ordered some work boots on October 8^th and was told that it would take 3 – 4 weeks for them to arrive. We waited and when following up were told that they were mistaken that per the manufacturer it was actually going to take 6 – 8 weeks. They did offer to refund us our money, but we decided to go ahead and wait it out. Now 7 weeks in we were told that the boots were still on back order with the manufacturer. (Weird since I went directly to the manufacturer’s website and could order the boots with the option of having next day delivery.) At this point we just opted to get out money back.

Came back after not patronizing for a very long time due to wrong orders. I have been in LE for ten years. This shop opened up just after I started.
Recently lateraled to a new agency and they directed me here for new unis. Reluctantly I went and was not let down… I was fitted and have had go three times to get a set of uniforms, and vest fitted… Plus a phone call where a girl told me they didn’t have my alteration specs.
I can’t believe they run a business with this poor of communication
I have been here around 10 times over the years and NEVER HAD AN ORDER DONE RIGHT!

Great selection, good prices and the customer service is outstanding. They are quick, knowledgeable and will do whatever it takes to get what you need. On– site tailoring and rapid delivery. I recommend them without any reservations.

I went there this morning around 11 oclock. As soon as you walk in thru the door, there is a small room to the right. A female employee was in there but did not bother to help. In the back of the store, a male and female employee also ignored me. I looked around for some male hospital scrubs but could not find a lot. The few I found were $$$. Honestly, some top scrubs were somewhat nice but $ 25.00? I can buy a set of scrubs for less that amount on ebay or amazon. This store just did not do it for me. Customer service really deserves a bad grade.

Joe and his crew always do a fantastic job for me! My orders are ready when I need them and are always correct… to include my alterations. There was one time I received the wrong size from a shipped item, and the company would not take it back and send me the correct size. Joe told me that he would get me my correct size from that company and would assume the cost… THAT is great customer service. Everyone is always friendly and helpful… and I consider them part of my law enforcement family. Cheers!

Love this place! The staff are so helpful and try to save you money where they can! They offer other store reviews and referrals if they can’t get something in time for you. The young lady who works here is very very helpful and FAST!
Great for CDCR needs

I’ve been a nurse for quite a few years and it was time for a new pair of scrubs. They have a good selection of brands to choose from in many styles and colors. If they don’t have what you’re looking for they’re more than happy to order it for you.
Their clientele are not only nurses and medical professions, but law enforcement and security as well. They have uniforms for these professions as well as the «tools of the trade» available.
The young lady behind the counter was very helpful with getting different styles in different sizes for me. And again, if I didn’t find what I needed, she offered to order it with a two week turn around. I managed to find some soft, comfortable scrubs. When you work 12 hr. shifts, comfort is important!
It’s a good place to go to get uniforms and supplies. Friendly, clean and helpful. Nice to have right here in Vacaville.

This is right down the road from where I live & work so it’s super convenient. They have all the brands I wear, both Barco Grey’s & Dickies Xtreme Stretch! I can’t even go to the big store, Uniform Advantage in Sacramento, to get BOTH brands in a single location! The prices are identical to what you would pay online, and most places are more expensive for these brands! They have a section where they have just their tall pants and petite pants which makes it easy for me to find the long length I need! Everyone is super friendly too! I will always come here before going anywhere else.

My boyfriend took me here to buy medical scrubs for my job and I’m so glad we found this place! At first I was hesitant about driving all the way to Vacaville, but this has got to be one of the larger scrub stores I’ve been to. They also sell uniforms and equipment for police, firefighters, etc., but mainly I admired their wide selection and cleanliness of the store. They also have many many sizes!!! I was lucky to find the last XXS for both the shirt and pants. However, even if you’re looking for something they don’t have they’ll be glad to order it for you! The prices are incredibly reasonable, totaling to ~$ 30. The customer service is really friendly. My only complaint would be I had to search for the fitting room myself but everything else went perfectly. I will be coming here again!

Everyone here is always friendly and helpful! I’ve ordered scrubs before and usually have them in 1 – 2 weeks. I needed a couple of the scrub tops tailored, and they were done by the next day… Wow!
This is a great small business that I am happy to support… I’ve been shopping here for 5 years!
