I love this London Style fish and chips restaurant. I go there frequently, whenever I am on that side of town and hungry. I have only tried one menu item, the«fish». This means cod, and this is exactly what you get if you order fish and chips anywhere in London. The fish is always very fresh, very hot and the coating is crispy. The tartar sauce is unique, fresh and tasty. The fries are average. I have ordered their cole slaw a number of times and I like it. It, like the fish, is always fresh and crispy. There is one couple who appear to run the place, and their English is minimal. But since there really isn’t that much to talk about this has not been an issue for me. The place is very clean(a top priority for me) and I like the way they have decorated in keeping with their own culture. The majority of clientele seem to come in for take-out, but many of the tables are often occupied too. I do not mind their policy of a $ 10 minimum to use a debit card. I was surprised by it the first time but now I just plan for that. I am planning on trying the catfish sometime soon to see how it compares to what I ate when I lived in Louisiana. The only thing that I wish were different is that I would like to save a bit of money by just getting fish without the chips. You can do that, but it really is not a significant savings.

We love this place! They are always nice to us and very professional! The place is clean and does not smell fishy. Food is so crunchy and very tasty! My favorite is their calamari and prawn dinner. Their rice and soy sauce is the best you’ll ever had to match your seafood order! Come and visit this place! We definitely want a place that serves good food to stay in business!

Big pieces and seasoned well. A little pricey, but it’s worth it. They are quick to serve so it’s in and out. Good for quick dinner for family.

I love this place! Fish is fresh and the prices are fair. It’s clean. I love the fish and chips it’s not greasy. The service was friendly. The food was ready fast. I don’t know what all the bad reviews are about… The food was great and the service was great. The tartar sauce seems home made because it’s bomb… I’ve been back twice in the past week!

This place sucks but its the only show in town specializing in seafood. You can find some seafood here and there at other places in Vacaville. They are always out of fried oyster’s & give you plain white rice(Yuk) instead of potatoes. You hav to pay extra for those oily hushpuppys. Portions are small _way overpriced. The older counter lady is very RUDE. I don’t plan to go back. Don’t recommend this DUMP !

I’m happy I didn’t rely on the negative Unilocal reviews and tried this place out because it’s nothing like they say! This place is delicious. The fish is fresh. The service is friendly, and super quick. It seems pretty popular when you’re in there people coming and going, tables taken up. I got the fish and calamari, and they bring you out bottles of Cocktail, Tartar, and ketchup. The calamari is literally the best I’ve ever had! It’s not the rubbery rings you get at resteraunts. Everythings so delicious. I’m glad we found this place.

This place is delicious! Definitely check them out for lunch. Their fish and zucchini are my favorite. If I’m completely honest though, their fries are not good. I know for many that could be a big turn off. They offer rice instead of fries which is what I usually get. If you want fish and chips, maybe not the best place but fried fish and RICE, it’s good

I ordered this tonight as a to-go order. I had the seafood sampler and it was really good for the price. It wasn’t over greasy, and it didn’t have too much batter. The restaurant décor isn’t much to be desired, but that’s not why I go there.

Generous portions, great crispy battered seafood! Seating is a little bit cramped and everything just seemed a little bit sticky in there– maybe it’s because of all the fried goodness!

Fish and prawns were good but the pot stickers and fries taste like they came from a frozen bag at the grocery store and just deep fried. Also the staff is rude and not customer friendly.

it’s cheap, fast and tasty… you will, however, walk out of there with the odor of a greasy spoon… not a fan of that–

Ghetto goodness! Had to drop it a couple of stars because they don’t accept charge or debit cards for totals under $ 10. I mean, I understand that it’s slightly more expensive, but that’s the cost of doing business. Otherwise, still the best that Vacaville has to offer.

A good place to get your fish fix. I can’t speak to whether their lumpia is good or not.

The restaurant is clean with a strange décor of sea scape and Chinese art with a fast food appearance. I was surprised with all the choices on the menu, all deep fried dishes. I ordered the fish and prawns. It was good, nicely crispy as this kind of food is when it is done right. Fast service with a smile. I would come back here again. The price was reasonable.

The 1 star is only because the zucchini was edible. It was $ 8 for 1 piece of «cod»,(no way the rotten fish was cod but I don’t think it was the catfish they also offered!)and 4 shrimp that were skinnier than my finger. I got the coleslaw which was limp and old and awful tasting, my friends got the French fries which were once done in old oil. Totally inedible. We paid $ 4 extra for zuccini which was edible only. The woman was rude. We ordered to go and we were watching them prepare the food when the woman looked up, saw us watching and told us too go sit down and kept waving us off until we went and Sat where of course we could no longer see in the kitchen. Waste of money and we both have upset tummies after eating. Don’t go!

Tonight was our 1st time trying this place. My husband found it when he drove past it one day. The location of the restaurant faces Alamo and is located in a corner of the shopping strip at Peabody Road. I can see Walgreens across the street from inside. The restaurant is nice and clean.(except the carpet is old and stained) I had a 2 piece fish & chips, and my hubby had a 3 piece. You can choose between rice or fries with your meal. The order is brought to you, along with cold ketchup and tarter sauce. Each table has a bottle of malt vinegar. We both liked our meals. The fish was delicious and huge pieces, and not greasy. The fries tasted good also. This will probably be our new go-to place for fish and chips.

I really enjoy the fish and chips here. I’ve had them to-go and dined-in. The batter around the fish is always crispy, even when I order to-go and get home 10 minutes later– still crispy! And the fish always tastes fresh. Friendly staff, too.

Have been here twice in the last few months and each time it was delicious, the servings were large, and the service was great. The unpleasant woman in line in front of me was terribly rude to the lady at the counter. The counter lady was kind and patiently took this woman’s crap. I want to punch this lady in the side of her head but instead tried to difuse the rude, it didnt help. She placed her order while talking on her cell phone and at least took the phone away from her ear to insult the cashier. Such a jerk. While waiting for her order she sat in the restaurant talking loud on her cell phone. She was a jewel. But she didn’t dampen our experience, it was a great meal, the people who work there are great and we will always come back to this restaurant.

In all my 23 years of living in Vacaville, I have passed by this tiny Fish and Chips shop thousands and thousands of times but have never eaten here. Today, was THE day. I don’t care what you say about it being unhealthy [or whatever words that are synonymous with unhealthy], I feel like I accomplished a goal I never knew I had. Everything is fried here, they’ve got it all: fried fish, fried chicken, fried oysters, fried zucchini, you name it. I got the two piece fish and chips ’cause.well duh. It comes out piping hot and crispy. The nice lady brought it to our table, gave us all the dippings: ketchup, hot sauce, tarter sauce, vinegar, mustard. I like that they keep the sauces refrigerated until you use them. If you’re craving food with your grease, I’d come here.

This place is OK, they are the same owner that used to be at the mall. Anyways the food and price is with in par with other fish and chips. It’s kinda hard to see this place since it’s tuck in the corner of the shopping center.
