Who knew I needed an assistant until I had one? A friend had used these guys(gals) for some stuff in the past, and when I was crying about not having enough time to deal with the upcoming sale of my house(and subsequent move out of town), she urged me to give Maggie a call. SO super glad I did. She took on all the stuff I didn’t have time for(and frankly, didn’t WANT to do myself). She did ALL the research on the property we were buying, which included a lot of back-and-forth with the seller, the city, county, contractors, insurance companies, title company, etc. Plus she was my contact person for my own realtor and helped coordinate home showings while we were away on vacation. I still can’t get over how easy it was — and when we went on that vacation in the middle of a firestorm, we were actually able to RELAX. Not only did Very Own Assistant save me TIME, but in researching, Maggie uncovered some things that helped us make a better decision — which saved us a ton of money. My favorite part is that she was so thorough in reporting back to me, I have detailed emails with all the information I need, clearly laid out and easy to go back to and reference. I’m not left to trying to remember everything she told me over the phone. End result: if you have any tasks you need done and you either don’t have time, or don’t know where to start, give them a call. Now that we are in the process of moving, I plan to hire them for some organizing on both ends. I’ll update on how that goes later(though I’m sure it will be more of the same).
