Chic upscale bar located inside the Sebastian hotel in the Vail village. A relaxed atmosphere and great service made for the perfect pre-dinner cocktail. Extensive options for all– from wine, to bubbles, beer and cocktails with a fair range in price. The truffled potato chips are tasty and recommended. We experience all around welcoming and attentive service. There’s plenty of space for groups too. Yes, it’s pricey… but it is in high end hotel, in Vail, folks.

Little to no ambiance– feels almost like an upscale airport bar. I’d avoid– better options in the area.

We had stayed at the Sebastian during our 2014 Vail trip and had frequented Frost three times in six days, it had been that enjoyable. This year, we returned to the Four Seasons, but had looked forward to another visit to Frost. What a difference a year makes! Service was slow and indifferent, I would actually use the term inept. Temperature inside was so cold, my wife was forced to keep her coat on. Food was served cold and when brought to the server’s attention, all she could say was, «Really?» We were so disappointed, we will never return.

Fresh mojitos from mint in their own garden. Best Manhattan I’ve ever tasted with a big spherical ice cube.

One of the best kept secrets in Vail is that Frost may just have the best pizza in town. They call it flatbread but it’s a 14″ round pizza and better than anything I can find elsewhere in Vail. Great bar with quality wines by the glass. It’s 50 feet off the beaten path but well worth every step of the trip. Enjoy.

I love Frost, it’s a beautiful upscale bar in Vail inside the fabulous Sebastian hotel. I prefer a more upscale crowd, not the usual college age crowds that are in many of the other bars around Vail that tend to reek of pot. The Sebastian’s seems to have a big foreign clientele; I’ve met so many nice people from South America and Europe always up for a good time and fun conversation. The crowd is sophisticated so you don’t see fighting and immature behavior like you do at some of the other popular bars in that area. Drinks are pricey… it is Vail after all, the food is good. The only downside is that when it gets later it gets packed on Fridays & Saturdays so the service is slow during those times.

Service was terrible! Served water in plastic cups. I asked why and was told by female bartender that they were about to hit end of season and they ran out of glasses and no one replaced them. She was bitter and blamed others. We were served the famas hot chocolate cold and without a napkin. Every time I stay or go to this hotel the service is bad.

While I agree with every other review that the place looks fantastic. The décor was really thought out and executed well. I also commend the bar staff. While I’ve heard mixed reviews on the service here, I was served promptly, even though it was a busy Saturday night. So, good job there. Unfortunately, the clientele makes this place unbearable. Don’t try to act like a tough guy in front of your friends if you aren’t a tough guy(and believe me, I can tell when you’re acting). I’d love to write that off as a misunderstanding of the situation on my part. However, I witnessed a similar issue happen to my friend as he was trying to get his drink. Apparently, some of the staff were being rude to a few of our female friends. I didn’t see this happening myself so I can’t confirm. Long story short, avoid this place. There are plenty of other high-end drinking establishments in Vail village where the patrons are just as good as the venue.

Terrible service and a horrible experience. We received cold food after an extremely long wait and found that the staff would rather chat amongst themselves than wait on the patrons. We stayed at the Sebastian and vowed we would never go backup Frost.

Oh how I would love to give 5 stars for the ambience and the food and drink. However, and it’s a BiG however, the service is probably the worst in the vail area. We have been there so many times from après’ to nite and whether busy or not the service has always been horrible. Just don’t like having to beg for food and drink… Won’t give it another try as it is also embarrassing when we take visitors who come to ski with us at our second home in vail.

I was expecting a quiet bar but this place was fun! Bar /lounge /club-ish(small dance floor). The manager was really welcoming and friendly. He made sure we all had a good time and got everything we needed. If the bar is too busy and you’re unable to order a drink, no worries! They have waiters that walk around to take your drink orders for you which is great. Fun crowd and music is decent enough to dance to. I’d definitely come back here!

So I stayed at the Sebastian. I got to try the bar more than once, because it was in my hotel, and every time I tried it — the service was so slow. We needed to ask for water 5 times, instead of them just bringing it to the table the minute we sit down, or at least with our cocktails(that took forever) or when we asked again for it — you got the picture. The sage martini is really nice, the flatbread is very good. But honestly, the service is a disgrace. They are nice but so slow… And the place was never packed when I was there.

Pretty expensive(even for Vail) but worth if for a hand-crafted cocktail. Part of the price is the show of your drink getting made, so sit back and enjoy.

This is a decent place with potential to be a very good place. They have wonderful ambiance inside of the swanky Sebastian hotel. They also have a good drink menu. I was able to try a Colorado version of Kentucky Bourbon and drink my beloved Guinness on tap. Friends of mine ordered a slightly dirty and a very dirty martini. Neither had the right amount of dirt. lol The glasses were also not very chilled. Chips of ice to keep the expensive martini cold were also missing. When you’re selling expensive drinks it’s all about the details baby! I think this bar will get better with time. I would not hesitate coming here… I liked it.

My boyfriend and I went there on Sat night and had a blast. We got free valet parking at the Sebastian Hotel from 10:00pm-2:15am. I think that was a mistake though… we lucked out because the valet guy had left for the night when we came out to get the car. The music was great. Good variety of old and new stuff and lots of mixing. Real party atmosphere. We met so many fun, attractive people. The staff was very friendly and helpful and quick to refill our drinks! We’ll definitely go back.
