Oh a quick whim, we turned off of I-10 to put gas in our vehicle, and clean out our vehicle after a long trip. We noticed a Sandwich and Pizza business along the back wall. Hunry’s! What a great place to grab a bite to eat! Wonderful place! The only«con» there would be the bread. It’s a soft bread Hoagie Roll. I buy a stick of French Baguette at a Grocery Store(next off ramp from I-10) I re-pack the sandwich and add vinegar and oil dressing. Delicious! What a great place for a meal! Their salads. Whatever. Delicious!

Today I was driving on the 10 fwy from Los Angeles to Austin. I stopped for gas in this little Arizona town and was STARVING. There are about a million Subways along the way, where you can grab a tasty sandwich. You can get a decent $ 5 sandwich there. HOWEVER, I saw there was a 5 $ footlong deal at the Hungry’s sub shop inside the gas station and decided to save some time and kill two birds with one stone(gas+food). I was SO happy with my subs. I ordered a Tuna on Wheat and Turkey and Swiss on White. The meat was high quality and tasted like something I would find in an authentic Jewish Deli or Boar’s Head. Much tastier than the Quizno’s down the road! It was stuffed to the brim with FRESH veggies and made to order. They had a variety of mustards. I got spicy brown on my Tuna. The friendly chef told me to look around the store for any other items I might like with my meal. I grabbed two Rockstar’s(2 for $ 3) because I needed some energy for the road. I added a 33 cent small package of Funions for crunch and a King Size package of M & M’s. I could not have had this tasty meal at SW or Q’s. Thank you for making my trip so nice Hungry’s!
