I brought my dog there for the first time to be bathed and groomed. The cut was uneven, some areas not touched at all. I called and left a message for the owner the next day but never heard back. I took him to another groomer in the next town 2 days later to fix the cut. They seem like nice people so I hate to leave a bad review, but this was sub-par work and not cheap.

Lisa is definitely a dog lover and obviously enjoys her work. My dog loves going to Fuzzybuttz and always pulls to get into the shop. An adorable setup and a wonderful owner!

I started going to Fuzzybuttz when Lisa ran the business out of her home. The first time I dropped Sydney off there, I couldn’t believe how many dogs Lisa owned(or how clean she managed to keep the house). Clearly this woman was a dog lover, and that’s my No. 1 concern when choosing a groomer, walker or boarder. Fast-forward a few months, and Lisa has opened up a great retail space on Main Street in Valatie. Just like her house, the shop is super clean, and the whole setup is very professional. There are no cages, so dogs can roam free within the«secure area» while they’re waiting for a cut or a pick-up. There’s even a big bay window in front with pillows and toys where the dogs like to sit, keeping an eye out for the return of Mom or Dad. The grooming itself is top-notch. I have a miniature Schnauzer, which can be a tricky cut, but Lisa nails it every time. I love how she takes the time to discuss the finer points of the grooming each time I pick the dog up – to me, that says she really takes pride in her work, and it shows. Prices are reasonable, service is prompt and friendly, and my dog actually seems to enjoy her time with Lisa. Best. Groomer. Ever.
