For an internet provider, this company sure is antiquated. They do allow online payments but it’s extremely rudimentary and doesn’t all you to check your balance. You can setup automatic monthly payments, but you have to print out a form and mail it to them! What?! If you try to call and speak with someone, there is always at least a 15 minute wait, but very often closer to 30 minutes, with the same recording saying«All representatives are serving other customers, please hold» EVERY30SECONDSWHILETHESAMETWOAWFULSONGSPLAYOVERANDOVER! As of March 2015, the prices for everything went up about $ 15. Now 15Mbs Internet is $ 65 per month. The only reason I stay is because my only other option is AT&T DSL. At least Altitude allows unlimited download usage, and doesn’t throttle me to death.

I’ve always expected cable companies to have horrible customer service. Altitude takes it to a whole new level. They can’t even come close to the internet speeds they advertise. On the 15 Mbps plan I was receiving speeds of 3 Mbps max, usually less than 1 Mbps. Their representatives acknowledge that they cannot provide that speed currently and are waiting on a part. When I asked if I could get a partial refund they said they would work on my issue and call back. They never called back after several calls spaced out over a couple of months. My advice is DONOTUSEALTITUDE unless they are your only option. If they are, you might as well just go out without internet, it will be much cheaper.

Continuous over billing even though I have automatic withdrawal. Constant loss of channels and recently I found out that hey closed there office here in Valdosta, Georgia. How did I find out that they had closed? I had a complaint to make. I always went there cause it was hell getting someone on the phone. .if you have them, cancel and run. If you are thinking about signing up for any of their sevices. DON’T and that goes for all their locations.
