Concepts Nail Studio

Although Nails by Chris had been recommended to me, they were closed on Sunday so I rode around until I found Concepts. Their front door was open and I was worried about it being too hot inside but at this time of year it wasn’t too bad. The pedicure I considered good (got the French and added sea salt scrub), I’ve had better but worse too. It was the manicure that was way less than I expected. I never get polish as I am extremely rough on my hands, but get them buffed. Maybe it is partially my fault for not examining them thoroughly before I left, but they barely spoke my language anyway. Yes he buffed the nails, but he didn’t shine them… unlike every other place I’ve been. So I’ll just have to plan my pedicure on a Saturday next time and go to Nails by Chris.

If there was a ½ star option, I would have chosen that. $ 32 dollars for a manicure and pedicure seemed like a sweet southern steal. As a new Valdosta resident, I thought I’d try a «local» place. I’m now determined to find others. Frankly, I would pay $ 10 more to have quality nail polish (no Essie to be found), and a «spa» with air conditioning. If you don’t mind cheap, flaky polish, paraben rich lotion, and a fume filled room, go here.
