«Hole in the wall» type place. Loved the food and staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Will be back for more!

This restaurant provided the best Korean food I ever had!!! So good, defiantly recommended! The lady work there gave us a plastic cover to hide from the heavy rain! So kind :)))))

My friends and I had never had Korean food before, but we wanted to give it a try! A little nervous, six of us decided to go on a Friday night after our dance practice around 6 pm. We walked inside and you could tell it had previously been a Huddle a House or something of that sort. There was a group of three girls and a couple. We asked the waitress what was good And she gave great recommendations for all areas of the menu whether we wanted beef, chicken or noodles. We all decided on a «box». The box gave a TON of food and it was only around $ 12! The first thing to come out was a small portion of about four different kind of kimchi. It had more of a kick then I expected and wasn’t really my thing, but I’m glad I tried it. We also each got soup that resembled the kind you would get at any Asian restaurant. I ordered the glazed chicken as my entrée and it was delicious! It is hard to describe the texture of the glaze, it was not really a «sauce» but each piece was very flavorful with ginger and garlic. Each box, in addition to the entrée, came with steamed rice, three pieces of sushi, salad, and a variety of fried items(egg roll, dumpling, broccoli, potato, sweet potato and shrimp). We all really enjoyed our Korean experience and would gladly go back!

Really good Korean food, and a great place to go if you’re tired of the same old«Asian» buffet places. I’m in Valdosta on business a couple of times a year, and Korea Garden is one of the places I always visit. Great value for dinner if you order a bento box, since you get about 5 «banchan» appetizers in addition to the box for about $ 12. As far as the box goes, I can do without the salad(I’d rather have more kimchi), and the eggroll(I’d rather have another dumpling), but the meats are flavorful and the banchan’s are delicious. I will keep coming back when I visit.

It was ok pretty much like most Asian restaurants nothing making it stand out in a crowded field. It was clean. Service could have been better

We were very pleased with our meals! We each had a «box special» — one BBQ short rib, one marinated beef, and one marinated chicken. Each came with white rice, sushi roll, tempura veggies, egg roll, dumpling, and salad. The table was also served with small dishes of items like kimchi, cucumbers, and daikon radish. Other than the pickled items, everything was prepared fresh to order. They have weekday lunch specials, too. Can’t wait to go back and try something else!

We passed through Valdosta on our way to Atlanta from Miami, and tried to find something like BBQ or Meat and 3 on the way up, but it was too late in the evening. To our surprise, the town had a Korean restaurant right near the highway, so we stopped there instead. We eat a lot of Korean here at home, so we were pretty stoked to be able to grab some on our trip. Honestly, it was okay. Just okay. I ordered the bulgogi and my fiancé ordered their L.A. galbi. The galbi itselt was decent enough, tender and flavorful, though nothing to write home about. The bulgogi tasted more like cafeteria-style rather than cooked-to-order, which was super disappointing. It lacked any heat or sauce whatsoever(which made the scoop of rice on the side pretty pointless), and had acquired that sort of gaminess that occurs in beef when it sits too long. It came in a bento-style box, which was also very underwhelming, including tempura(???) style vegetables and prawn, as well as an egg-roll and gyoza(also deep fried). And next to that was, mindbogglingly, was a little iceburg salad with thousand-island dressing, which was very off-putting to me. The gimbap was meh, but it was the only thing in the bento that had any semblance of «korean food». Our plates did come with a few banchan/side dishes, such as kimchi and oijangajji, and they were the most enjoyable part of the meal by far. For two people, however, the banchan was too small. My suggestion for this place would be to skip the bento setup entirely and instead incorporate more banchan. The strength for this restaurant is in the actual korean dishes. But it tries so hard to utilize asian-fusion(egg rolls? come on) dishes that are«safe» for those new to the cuisine, and the result is a less«authentic» and less tastey meal.

Stopped here on Christmas Day around 5:30, and they took us in. The place smelled pretty food, like a mixture of cleaning solution and the sharp, salty smell of teriyaki. We ordered the Galbi beef boxes and it was some of the best Korean food we’ve had in the states. Fresh, authentic egg roll, plentiful amount of beef, spicy kimchi and rice in just the right portion. Kind of divey, looks like a run of the mill Chinese place from the outside, but the inside and food proved otherwise. Totally worth the stop.

Wonderful! From the outside, this place looks like a fast food joint. However, food is what really matters… and the food was great! We had boxes, and everything was wonderful. Lots of flavor and spices. The portions were excellent! There are few good choices in Valdosta, but we will be back to this one.

It’s not the best, but tastes pretty good. and considering how rare it is to find decent asian restaurant in valdosta, and *shockingly* only 1 korean resto downtown, i’ll take«good». I like the bento, which is very fulfilling, i can easily share with my kids. Place is clean, and mostly quite(because i always come after or before rush hour) which is how i like it. Tempura is also good. Staff and owner are always nice, and came out to talk when she’s not busy in the kitchen.

Just had the glazed chicken lunch special with fried rice – delicious and more than I could eat. Local paper raved that the egg rolls were«world’s best.» Guess what? They are! Can’t wait to return and try something else.

I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. My friend and I went on a Monday around 11:30am. We pull up and there was nobody in the parking lot. The place looked kind of dated too. We sat in the car for a bit deciding whether to leave while we had the opportunity or chance it and give the place a try. We decided to stay, glad we did. We were the only people for awhile then a few more people came in. There was a little sweet Korean lady behind the counter who served us. We both ordered the boxed lunches. I got the bulgogi box and he got the spare rib box. We were first served 4 different kinds of kimchi/apps. I couldn’t begin to tell you what they were called or what was in them. Fairly good. Then served the box. It came with meat(bulgogi), rice, salad, 3 pieces of sushi, and a slice of fried yam, potato, shrimp. I am no expert on Korean cuisine, but I thought this place was great. Only one in town I know about. Prices were a bit expensive. Expect to pay $ 10 and up for your meal. More expensive at dinner. Worth a try.

Surprised to see a Korean restaurant in Valdosta. Pretty authentic, great selections and the service is good. You can’t compare this restaurant to the ones in Atlanta. This is just not fair. We ordered the spicy squid, Fried Noodle(Chap Chae) and Bim Bim Bap(beef mixed with vegi and rice). All of them tastes pretty good, the noodle and squid is bit a the sweet side. They also prepare some Korean dishes at your table which is pretty good. While we dine there we saw many to go orders and seems like all the customers(except us) are regulars. We will be back again for sure to try different dishes.

I really enjoyed the vegetables. For Valdosta it was good but not the best. I would go back just for the veggies :)

Hands down, authentic Korean cuisine! So thankful it is here in Valdosta. I have tried many dishes on the menu and have enjoyed them all. If you crave Korean or want to try it for the first time, go here and you won’t be disappointed.

My fiancé and I have been craving Korean food for awhile now… we moved here from the Detroit Metro where we had a fair amount of choices and then we got here where there aren’t many options. We were pretty excited when my father-in-law told us about this place and we were not disappointed: D Great food and friendly service… our waiter, Sean, was really nice :) Their banchan(the little dishes that are served at the beginning of the meal) is really good, usually there is at least one item I don’t eat much of but I ate a good amount of everything and LOVE their radish aka moo banchan. If you’re new to kimchi it might take you a few tries to get used to it here, it’s more on the fermented side but also really good :) It had been so long since we had Korean food that we ordered way more than what we could eat but I can tell you all these items were awesome: Haemul pajeon — seafood pancake jjin mandu — steamed dumpling Galbi — BBQ short ribs japchae — stir fried glass noodles haemul dolsot bibimbap — seafood, rice, and veggies mixed with spicy gochujang *best bibimbap i’ve ever had* I believe someone behind us ordered Kimchi Jjigae(spicy kimchi stew) and the bubbling of the hot pot made me pretty jealous: p Can’t wait to come back, we live about 40 minutes away but will come back as soon as we can: D

We stopped here on a whim totally expecting to find the usual Asian fare. What we found was actual authentic Korean food. We were a little confused about what to order and about the kimchi they served us but once we dove into it the food was excellent. The price was a bit higher than I expected since I wasn’t expecting authentic food but it was well worth it. We left incredibly full and fed a toddler off of our plates. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I would highly recommend this place for their delicious food and for something out of the ordinary in South Georgia. Oh and they have free wifi!
