Don’t waste your time or your money. The mattresses are wore out. I mean, literally wore out. The room I was in the spring was sticking out of the mattress. The carpets are nasty. You definitely don’t want to walk on them without your shoes on. There’s no water pressure so the toilets hardly flush and the showers barely spray. Also, the room I was in had bugs and I found drug needles laying around outside. We’ve all heard the saying, «you get what you pay for» and this is one of the hotels that this apply. Those nice pictures that are posted are definitely not of this hotel. The pictures with the bugs and needles are real. This is a very low budget motel! Beware!

I try to always stay in Motel 6 since I have 2 small dogs. This location is super convenient to I 75. While the rooms need some updating, it was safe and dry. Everything functioned properly. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. That always means a lot, especially when I’m out here on the road by myself. I would highly recommend this location.

The Motel at 2003 W Hill Ave, Valdosta, GA31601 is disgusting. I was trying to sleep when I found fleas jumping on me. The AC unit was broken and leaky. I was sweating. There was also black mold under the leak. I’m livid to report that Motel 6 would not refund my money nor will they admit the room has bugs in it. IT’s against health codes and it needs to be dealt with!

I normally don’t stay in 2 star motel/hotels but we were on our way from Michigan to disney world, we drove about 14 hours and just needed to sleep so I found this motel 6 on my app and for $ 50 this was a pretty good room. It looks like all the rooms were updated. It was very contemporary. The air conditioner worked great I like the noise it makes so for some maybe it would be to loud. The only part I did not care for is the parking. I don’t know the area and did not like the my Tahoe was so far from my door. Others then that no complaints. O I’m 5’2″ and the shower head was just tall enough for me :) so if your tall this could be a problem.

If you stay here, I hope you are a big fan of trains. This is because you will hear them from your room every 15 minutes starting at 6:30 am. The Wi-Fi is 3 bucks and you get .5 Mbps down and are limited to 1 device. Just keep driving and avoid this place.

The pack and I arrived at this out of the way hidden gem of a Motel 6. Tucked discreetly behind a Great American Chrome Shop at exit 2 on I 75 in Lake Park, GA, this one should be on every pack owners top list. Why? Well, how about an acre and a half of calm partially fenced lawn area adjacent to an accessible wooded area for the canines to unwind after a day in duh cah? Now for the two legged beings. The oversized room is clean, the air conditioner quietly hums, a granite sink top area(yes, granite) leads into a spotless bathroom. A dated big screen tv housed in an oversized armoire device offers limited channels, but hey, a reading lamp and table on each side of the bed make up for the lack of HGTV. The furnishings are not the typical Motel 6 and provide a refreshing break from the anticipated bottle opener attached to the vanity look. The firm bed agrees with my back. The other Unilocalers hit it on the head; unless truck stop Denny’s is your thing, head up to exit 5 for great eats, notably the Rodeo Mexican restaurant(reviewed earlier today). Notably absent are the crack and meth freaks, the hookers, and the dispossessed. I saw no one hanging bored over the second floor balcony eyeing everything. Nor did I get into any fringe weird conversations out in the parking lot. The 40 ft pool, 8 ft deep in November sparkled and had none of the pool issues one might expect.(Having owned and maintained a pool in FL for over 20 years, this pool is one public pool I would use without fear of chemical contamination or waterborne disease). I would have given it 5 stars were it not for two totally useless behemoths called ice machines. A broader cable offering, too, would have helped this Unilocaler from having to drink his uniced wine in front of the Weather Channel. In short, all you dog packing travelers need to check this place out. I know I will return.

day 34 i can’t keep driving… i needed to pull over and sleep. i was almost tempted to pull over by the side of the woods and just walk in and leave my car and turn feral… but a Unilocaler changed my mind. this place is just a room. service was good but… the place is ghetto, it smells, the lobby closes early, theres loud talking people outside all night, the rooms dilapidated, no wi fi, and just people who sorta just loiter around. bah!
