Nails by Chris

Nice atmosphere and much better than the other location to me.

I took my girlfriend and her mom to get their nails done. Let me start by saying that the two guys who actually did the pedicures were very nice and did a wonderful job. They don’t offer the SNS service here which is what my girlfriend usually gets on her nails, so she was going to get gel. When we made the appointment yesterday the lady was very nice and helpful and she said to make sure they soaked the SNS off in a bowl. When we got there today my girlfriend asked three separate people if she could soak her nails off while she waited for a pedicure, and was told no because «they didn’t want to make a mess» and that they would pop the SNS layer off without soaking it. She didn’t want this done because it is painful and it would damage her nails that are already thin from having artificial nails in the past. Because of this she decided only to get the pedicure with her mother, and when they finally asked her to come have the manicure done the two people who seemed to be in charge were extremely rude to her and her mother when she said she had changed her mind. They were very nice to me when they figured out I was the one paying though.

Love coming here — the staff is friendly and I’ve always had quality manicures and pedicures here. They also offer you complimentary beverages and are typically pretty accurate with expecting wait times. Would recommend to anyone in the Valdosta area.

Can I just say how much I love Nails by Chris?!
Back in January, my Mum and I heard about Nails by Chris from my Aunt. We were in town for a funeral and we needed some time away. As soon as we walked in, the atmosphere was very welcoming and inviting. I had the pleasure of having my nails done by Chris. He was funny, talkative and considerate. Chris cares about his clients and treats his staff like family. The atmosphere is light, friendly and bubbly.
Next, for my pedicure, Tony was the life of the party! He cracked jokes, sung a few tunes and did an amazing job for my pedicure!
Today, I am back in with my Dad and we’re receiving great service once again! Today, I got a pedicure, and David was awesome! I feel like a new woman!
Now that I am in town for the summer, I can’t wait to stop by again! I love this place! ^_^

False advertising, sign says open until 7:30, showed up at 6:30 and they say closed. Thanks I’ll give my money to someone that wants it. Never going back.

Love a pedi! Jack is the best! Good prices and good service. You probably don’t want to walk in if you are in a hurry. They usually have a packed house! I always leave pleased!

I’ve been here three times, each time hoping to have a better experience the next time. The space is clean, beautiful and laid out well. The staff are friendly but speak almost no English and every time I think they did a kind of sucky job. The first time they did my acrylics they missed the sides of my nails (I’m not kidding), the next time they messed up my toes and didn’t cut them down, the next time I gave up arguing about what I wanted painted on my nails, even after showing the guy a picture.

Love this place… They are always extremely friendly! I have never had a bad experience at Nails By Chris.

I went in today for a pedicure. Beautiful décor, nice job on my toes, but the service was HORRIBLE! I was thinking maybe it was because I went in an hour and a half before closing but another customer came in less than 30 mins before closing and she got better treatment than I did. I was having a good day until I sat down in their chair. The technician had a bad attitude throughout my whole visit. He didn’t try to make conversation with me at all. I felt like he was rushing through my service. In the end, he snatched the towels off my lap that were placed there b/​c I was wearing a skirt and proceeded to help clean up the shop. Usually a technician would help me with my things and let me know that some one will help me to check out and thank me for coming. I didn’t even get the courtesy to sit to let my toes dry. And he didn’t even put lotion on my feet! I felt like I was kicked out! I should have asked to speak to a manager but I was so caught off guard and pissed off that I just left. Monday I think I may call and politely let them know how disappointed I was with my visit.

Just visiting in town for the night and went in here to get a fill-​in! They were so busy and I assumed I would be waiting forever, but they got to me right away. Great service, friendly workers! Free beverage of your choice while you’re in there also, which is so nice! Would definitely recommend this place!

very clean and stylish place. the service was great. we showed up with 4 women, no apt that wanted a mani/​pedi and they fit us in right away. We had to wait, went to the mall next door and they called us when they were ready. the service was great, they brought us water. the pedi took about 45 mins and had a great message, while the mani took about 25 mins and had a message too. I will be going back there for all of my mani/​pedi needs.
