Peet’s Coffee & Tea

The opposite of premium coffee. I asked what kind of coffee they had, she looked at me like I was an alien and said «regular coffee». She was right about that, nothing special here. Traveling as much as I do I’m used to seeing many premium coffee chains at major airports, no such luck at JFK B gates.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I regularly go to Peet’s, every day at one point. This was absolutely my worst Peet’s experience ever. Ordered a soy latte and it was straight out awful! Flavor was flat, no espresso flavor at all, and zero foam.
I tried to nicely ask if maybe my drink was mixed up or something because it looked and tasted nothing like the ones I normally get. I was told «no that is your drink, lattes don’t have foam, there is espresso in it, you’re thinking of syrup.» I never get syrup and nothing could make this latte better!!!
I use this airport all the time and will never go back here again! Save yourself $ 7.00 or go elsewhere! Not worth your time!

Cute cup, bad coffee… I’ve had Peets in the past and this isn’t the cup Ive grown to love. I ordered a mocha with almond milk, I received a cup of burnt coffee with almond and no trace of mocha goodness. The coffee was undrinkable, — $ 6.00 and rendered annoyed with no caffeine. I have to say I felt pretty bad for the guy working solo, bouncing between the register and playing barista. The mini-​Peets seemed clean, but the barista/​cashier extraordinaire seemed bored… almost comatose clearly hating life. With a bit more help and a good sense for customer service this could have been the experience I was looking for.
