Always go with your first instinct. I have been here before a little over a year ago and the flavors were good and the restaurant seemeed busier. This evening it was like a ghost town and the flavors show why. Bland is an overstatement. Everything was luke warm and tasted like the item that was next to it and it all tasted the same… salty and boring. The interior is dingy and reflects the obvious lack of care that is being taken. Avoid this place and eat almost anywhere else…

I’d love to stay and write a thorough review but I have to run to the toilet again. Does anybody know a good hospital in Valdosta?

Not impressed at all. My family and I tried this place once when we first moved here and won’t be back. The soup wasn’t even good:(. Not only was the food bad but the prices were high.

I don’t know if I went at a bad time but food was awful and not a big selection. I know it’s just a Chinese buffet but this was not good at all! The place is pretty dirty as well. I will not be returning.

This place is lots of food for a low price. Sushi is included in the low price. I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. It’s hard for a business to offer mass quantities at a high quality for such a low price and make a profit, which is the point of a business. I have eaten there several times and the sushi was suspect at best. I have read the great reviews and I don’t get it. Maybe it’s the value people place on getting tons of sushi for a low low price. I won’t knock that. If you want a lot of Chineese food for cheap this is the place.

Their sushi is the best. Only eat very small portions of the buffet and attack the suishi and hibachi instead.

Great find in the city of Valdosta. The location is right next to Walmart and parking is easy. Selections are great, all your usual Chinese buffet items and they all tastes good. Service is very good too. We will be back next time we are in town.

This is the place to go for Chinese food in Valdosta !! The food is always fresh and hot. The sushi is made to order and is very good. The owners a gentleman and his wife are the most friendliest people, as well as the waitress staff. Tracy is the best ! The only con I have is the sushi chefs are always rude and want say a word to you, just nods their head in response to what you ask for. Even when I tried to compliment them they still show no gratitude. I suggest to improve the owners might need to consider hiring a different sushi chef. Overall I would highly recommend eating here ! I have been a patron of their establishment for the 8 years I have lived in Valdosta.

It’s your typical Chinese buffet. The prices are nice, the food is tasty. You can tell a good restaurant based upon how many people are there. And whenever I go here, I’m never the only person there. So basically, it’s a great place if you’re just looking for some chinese food. Nothing over the top.

Since moving here we have eaten here often. For buffet food it is pretty good and the sushi is made to order and delicious. They even have a made to order grill for noodles and meat. Just beware, the sushi chef no matter which one you get is ALWAYS rude and acts like the act if making your sushi is the worst fate that could befall him. Everyone else is friendly though. Plus the price is more than reasonable.

Bill runs $ 10 each. Made to order sushi and Mongolian grill. Pro: the sushi and soup were excellent and included in the price. Con: many of the buffet items were not hot and lacked flavor. Would we come back? Maybe, but if we did we would skip the buffet and eat soup and sushi.

Fellow sushi lovers, hear me and hear me well! THISISTHEPLACE. Forget Mori, Aligatou, etc. Royal Buffet is THEBIZ. Now, there’s two ways to go about this. 1. Eat there. Get the buffet. Place your sushi order, then judiciously select a few items from the buffet to nibble while you wait on your sushi. Consume sushi. Order more sushi. Nibble more. Retrieve sushi. Eat sushi. Lather, rinse, repeat. I highly recommend the spicy salmon roll. Bestill, my beating heart! If you’re looking for a cost-effective meal, this is the way to go. 2. If you really don’t give a damn about the price and want a full-on sushi feast, order sushi from the carry-out menu. They have a huge selection of rolls, and so far, I’ve only had one I didn’t like. Yep, I got a bit adventurous and ordered the oshinku roll. Pickled radish. Who knew? BLEH! Not their fault, though, that my taste buds said REJECT. The mexican roll and spicy girl roll are my favorites from the carry-out menu. There’s another that I can’t recall the name of, but it involves salmon and spicy sauce, and it’s wrapped in cucumber with some sort of vinegar for dipping. HEAVEN. The buffet food is pretty damn good, as far as buffet food goes. Nothing I’d really rave about or advise against, but it’s more than edible and if you go at dinner time, the crab legs are plentiful. Overall, YUM.
