I don’t know why they only have 3.5 stars. The décor is totally new and very attractive. The customer service is on point. It’s conveniently located right off the freeway, but you don’t hear any freeway noise. Also just down the Newhall Ranch Rd from some 4-star on Unilocal restaurants. Clean, fresh, new, nice design and style.

We stayed one night at the Marriott in Valencia, Santa Clarita, CA. We were welcomed warmly by Diana. The hotel is in a good location, outside the mess of Los Angeles, adjacent to I-5. The rooms are modern, and even the one we had facing I-5, were quiet with the windows closed. This might be a different situation in summer for people who don’t like an A/C running. We enjoyed our stay, and will certainly consider coming back if we’re in the area again.

Been to a couple of of these around the country and I always find it amazing that they are exact carbon copies of one another. I guess the model works. Bottom line is they are completely acceptable but nothing special. A good value for the money. Just wish the food was better.

I don’t get why people are complaining about this hotel. I’m currently staying here for business and couldn’t be happier. When I checked in last night Diana helped me and told me everything they have to offer. She even walked around the counter to show me where the elevators were. I was given cookies and water bottle as a thank you for being a rewards member and also won 100 member points from a raffle they have up front. The room is awesome. Spacious and all remodeled. The bed is very comfortable and the pillows are not flat(YAY). I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The lounge(they serve Starbucks coffee) and the 24hr market are a lifesaver!

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ ROOM204ISNOT A HANDICAPWHEELCHAIRACCESSIBLEROOMDONOTBOOK @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ I woud have given 3 or 4 Star But the way they have this room set up is not listed Correctly and should be changed, ALSO when you request a Special Specific ROOM its not gauranteed you will get that room. Even though your reservations state it, its a first come first serve, that also needs to be changed, Let me start from begining Hotel Location(3 Star) The Lobby is very modern and up to date, plenty of seating many locations and various types of seating booths with individual tv, big tv near fire place sofas chairs and tables, and a place for coffee and food. I liked it very much Front Desk(4 Stars) The young lady who helped checked us in was great, even though there were many issues with the room once we got in there, they came through for the shower floor and shower head, but she handled it like a champ, same as the manager who did take the time to speak to us as we complained to him and explained to him the Room was not set as an Acessible Room. I will explain in a minute ‚ ROOMLOCATION(0 Star) This room is NOWHERENEARTHEELEVATOR. Its down the hall and around the corner RIght in front of Room are the back stairs 2 flights of them, Photos attached ROOMLAYOUT(0 Star) If you are wheelchair bound this ISNOTTHEROOMFORYOU. this is not a True ADA Walk In Shower Accessible Room ENTIRELYTOOSMALL. Photos Attached BED(2 Stars) The bed was listed as a King Bed, UUUUMMMMMNOITSNOT. I have a king bed and this is not one, and the left side of the bed has a walking space of maybe a foot wide. there is also too much furniture for this small room, and makes walking around the room feel very crowded BATHROOM(0 Star) This bathroom is not again a Walk In ADA Shower, way to narrow and small and has glass doors not curtains, the counter is too high for someone in wheelchair. Photos Attached This Room can be listed as a Room for the Hearing Impaired and maybe Visually impaired, but wheelchair NOTATALL.

I’m writing from the booking and corporate experience. While I’ve never stayed here I can promise you that the dozens and dozens of employees and clients I’ve had stay here would not hesitate to complain if they were unhappy! I’ve never heard a peep. On the corporate level they have made it incredibly easy to book rooms en masse and at a discounted rate. You can tell they really cater to corporate and government travel, especially after the latest renovations. The lobby is very business friendly with a computer dedicated exclusively to printing boarding passes and others for checking email and whatever else you need. There is nice seating and overall a high-end vibe. Definitely not what you’d encounter in the hotel next door. Starbucks recently moved in and they do not disappoint. The food is actually really good too! We’ve held several meetings there and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and the service. I recently had the chance to your one of the suites and I will gladly continue to have clients stay there in the future. Soooo spacious. And they can make special accommodations like having wine and a fruit/cheese plate waiting when they arrive. Nothing to complain about whatsoever.

This hotel worked out perfectly for our Magic Mountain trip. We checked in late Friday night after driving from Vegas. The guy said we had a deluxe double queen balcony room. I didn’t remember booking a balcony, but it was late so I just went with it. The room was nice. Comfortable beds. Good bathroom. Plenty of lighting(albeit none by the mirror near the entrance). Microwave. Mini fridge. I was impressed by how many power outlets there were. Every light fixture had them in addition to the walls. The aforementioned balcony was overlooking the pool in the courtyard. Nice pool area. There is no included breakfast, but that’s fine by me. We had to get up early to head to Magic Mountain anyway. It’s about a 10-minute drive. We were attending an event that gave us «Exclusive Ride Time» two hours before and after the park’s normal operating hours. So at about 3pm, we went back to the hotel to relax a little. I went for a swim, took a shower, and before I knew it, I was waking up from a nap. Back to the balcony thing. On Sunday morning, they slid a receipt under our door that showed a higher rate than I had booked. It turned out that the balcony was an inadvertent upgrade. I headed to the front desk and Lana sorted it out for us. On a busy Sunday morning with a small line of people and other guests calling from their rooms, Lana was friendly and apologetic and accommodating and gracious. Huge kudos to her for being awesome(Patriots jersey aside). A long time ago, TripAdvisor gave me these«customer service» buttons(or something) to give to excellent employees like Lana. Too bad I never think to bring them along.

Room was great… But the dam air conditioning woke me up every time it hit its desired room temperature and would turn off … Blasted a/c!

Very nice, upgraded suite-like rooms. No continental breakfast provided, but they do have a bar/café that’s open throughout most of the day. Wi-fi is a little slow on the guest network, but they do have a pay-to-use option available too(didn’t take them up on it). Hotel staff is very nice and accommodating. Upon check-in, we let the staff up front know that we would be heading to Magic Mountain the next day — she readily informed us that they have a free door-to-door shuttle available. Awesome! The front desk also readily helped us print files that were on pdf that could not be downloaded using the provided computers in the business center. Additional room amenities(sheets for the fold out bed, additional towels, etc) were brought up quickly upon request. Overall a very comfortable stay.

This by far has been the WORST hotel I have ever been too. First the room we booked they didn’t actually have for us. Second they put us in a room next to the elevator shaft so all you heard was it going up and down about every 15 – 20 seconds. Then around 11 at night the people staying next to us were having a very loud party. We called and complained about the noise several times but nothing was done. At midnight we couldn’t take it anymore so we packed our stuff up checked out of the hotel and moved to a different hotel. You know it’s bad when you have driven for 8 hours and are exhausted and decide to move. The staff was very unsympathetic to say the least. We travel all the time and never once have we ever had to leave a hotel room. I will stick to staying at the Hilton from now on.

Stay here last night after visiting Six Flag Magic Mountain. The lobby is very nice and clean. They had a bar area/lounge area that looked very relaxing. The person who check us in was friendly. The room was very clean and dust free(usually a lot of hotel rooms are so dusty you can smell it, not this room). The towels in the bathroom was so soft and not rough like another hotel towels(which is really nice to have). I would stay here again next time I’m in town.

I love Courtyard Marriott hotels however this one doesn’t live up to the brand standard. My air conditioning unit wasn’t working when I got there and after maintenance came and fixed it I woke up 1 hour after going to bed sweating and realized it wasn’t working. I had to pull myself together and call the front desk to have them come out again — not the way I wanted. Unfortunately after it quit working the THIRDTIME they gave up and said«sorry». The hotel was completely booked so there wasn’t even another room for me. The front desk woman was very apologetic and sweet and her hands were tied. She offered me a comp night via points which I appreciate but it still didn’t make the stay enjoyable. The staff was very friendly here so this is more of a maintenance /management issue.

My husband and I stay here whenever we drive up to go to 6 flags. It is the nicest hotel we’ve gotten in that area from Priceline’s bidding thing. They’re just a short drive from 6 flags, not so far that you have to worry about traffic but not so close that you have to worry about noise. Their rooms are super comfortable and all of the front desk people I encountered were really nice and professional. The only thing I don’t like is that on Priceline it says that breakfast is free but it’s actually only free to people who book through the hotel and not for people who book through(cheaper) 3rd party websites like Priceline. But that’s more of a knock on priceline than the hotel.

I was overcharged by $ 283 after my stay here. The front desk man, Kelly, not only charged us incorrectly, he also lost all of the paperwork with our information. It took 10 days to resolve the issue between Kelly and Bridget, who were both very unhelpful. Kelly was extremely rude and unprofessional at times, snapping at me over the phone and putting me on hold for 10 minutes to «check something» multiple times. I was polite up until around day 7 when NOONE would help me get my refund. I’ve read article about how dishonest hotel clerks overcharge and pocket the money, and my guess is that this is what he was trying to do and he got caught. That’s the only thing that explains his anger.

Stopped here during a long drive between so cal and nor cal late at night. It was so incredibly comfortable, the beds were wonderful. The shower head was tall so my tall husband fit, there was a fridge, good shampoo and conditioner and fluffy towels. There was only one coffee pack in our room for four, but there was a Starbucks coffee café downstairs so all was well. We’ll be staying here again for sure.

My wife and I stayed here in early March. We didn’t really know what to expect from this location since we had never stayed here before. After our stay, we agreed that this was the BEST Marriott location we have EVER stayed in and that was primarily due to the customer service. The staff here went above and beyond to see that we were cared for as if we were guests in someone’s home. One of the nice features this location offers is to provide guests with earbuds to use in the gym. The front desk couldn’t locate any and said they’d send housekeeping up when they found some. Within 5 minutes someone from housekeeping showed up and apologized for not being able to locate some earbuds, BUT offered her own earbuds(after she cleaned them) for my wife to borrow. Who does this?! Apparently this location does. Great stay made possible by a great staff.

The customer service here is A-MA-ZING! As a rewards member I was able to draw from a raffle. I received a free item from the hotel market, providing me with a nice Cesar salad after a two hour flight with no food. Perfect! I couldn’t get the sliding glass door open to my balcony. Maintenance guy within minutes. Realized I forgot to grab salad dressing for my salad. Before I could get all the words out, the receptionist had already volunteered to bring it up to my room. Even asked if I needed utensils or napkins… which I did! Excellent, fabulous customer service! Southern hospitality on the West coast!

It’s a Courtyard Marriott! Yes, 5 stars. Clean room suites, comfortable, big rooms for those with families or lots of friends. We had a one bedroom suite. A raffle win, otherwise we would have no reason to stay in Valencia at a Courtyard Marriott. The pool was perfect and I am not a pool person. We have the Pacific Ocean. So having a pool that’s temperature controlled, clean and big in a city were there isn’t much going on was just perfect. The pool and whirlpool also accommodates the handicap which I think is amazing and why I gave a 5 star. Our suite was very satisfactory. Nice art on the walls of the Pacific Ocean. King size bed and flat screen TVs in our room and the living room. The staff at check in was welcoming, happy and friendly! It was a happy stay ;).
