Del Taco

Did we come one a good day or something? Its a Sunday, from what I can see people are giving this place a pretty low rating. I don’t understand why, my husband and I are passing through but we really enjoyed it. Employees are super nice the food is really good as far as del taco food goes. Lots of beef and avocado in my husbands burrito and lots of chicken, cheese and lettuce in my chicken tacos. I would also post a picture of those but I ate them already. Oops! As far as I’m concerned this place is great! We will definitely be back here.

The other night I went to this del taco to get some French fries (big treat on diet) when I ordered requested them in a certain way. When I got them I left and went home which is less than 5 minutes away. They were cold stale and full of salt which I requested none. This isn’t the first time this store has done this to me but it will be the ladt

People think I joke when I say that Del Taco is my favorite spot. It’s true, I’m a total fan. On this trip, I ordered the breaded fish tacos and they were incredible. Don’t waste time at other restaurants that overcharge for fish tacos, come in to DT and get hooked like I did!

Usual backdrop. The typical layout. The service is ok. The food is not my fare but my family wanted to go so I joined. It’s pretty much average.

nothing wrong here… just like any other del taco… super convenient to grab a few bean and cheese burritto’s to take into six flags… instead of spending $ 16 on one burger and fries and an hour of our time… i spent $ 4 on 4 ½ lb b & c’s and when my kids were hungry… the food was already in my backpack!
we did the drive thru… it was quick… quality of food was fine… we were offered hot sauce… we also got 4 glasses of water. yay!
i’ve been to the tommy’s next door… but this time needed something portable and packable… perfect choice =) imagine sneaking a tommy burger into six flags for later. ha! not gonna happen!

Stopped in to use the bathroom on my home from up north. For as much traffic as that place must get, they were surprisingly clean. I decided to get one of their cheeseburgers. It wasn’t good, at all. I gave it back to the cashier and they made me a new one. Much better, even though it probably had a loogie in it.

This is my go to Del Taco cause of proximity not out of preference. Annoying to order sometimes in the drive thru because of the freeway. Feel like they never give me enough sauce either.

what do you expect from a wannabe Mexican fast food place? It’s good when you feel like having a hard shell taco and you can’t beat a cheap lunch.

DO NOT EAT THERE! BEWARE! The workers do NOT wear sanitary gloves! The address is 28 082 The Old Road adjacent to the 5 freeway South, Valencia, CA.

Sign says 24 but we were turned away at 11:20. Literally as soon as we pulled up the woman was serving someone in front of us. When we pulled up to the window, I asked if they were opened and the woman told us they closed at 11. When I asked her why she served someone a few seconds ago the only thing she had to say was that they closed at 11. Maybe they should change their signs. They aren’t 24 hour drive thru.

I’d give them ZERO stars if that were an option. I was in a hurry so I went used the drive through. After waiting a VERY long time to order and several more minutes to get to the window, I was told that they didn’t want my credit card!!! I haven’t carried cash in twenty years. So I left and went somewhere else. When I mentioned this to a local they informed that the food is awful anyway — even worse than Taco Hell.

Better than the other Del Tacos in town, but they still don’t accept credit. When I want American tacos, this is my first choice, provided we can scrape together enough cash to pay. The dining area is fairly clean and staff is friendly. A perfect A-​OK.

I normally like to write good reviews, but unfortunately that is not the case here.
When I went through the drive through and tried to use my debit card, I was advised I would have to take out $ 20.00 through ATM debit at a fee of $ 1.50. What a racket.
That will be the last time I go to this Del Taco. I do like Del Taco, but can’t support a business that takes advantage after you have waited in line and ordered your food.
I can’t believe the Del Taco Franchise allows their franchise owners to operate this way!

Don’t bother, no credit cards accepted and, should you want to use a debit card be prepared to fork over $ 1.50 for the ‘privilege’ of eating here. Go to the one off Lyons & The Old Road.

I ordered the Chicken Soft Taco & Nachos for $ 2.38.
The Chicken, Cheese and Sauce was excellent.
The Chips were crunchy and Nacho Cheese was delicious.
This Drive Thru gets 4 Stars because they charge a Fee to use a Credit Card.

I came by at 10:30 pm. Tried to go inside but the door was locked. Owner told employee to let me in??? Cool. Ok. Yeah. So I ordered and even let me sit inside and eat while they cleaned. Don’t know if they were just being ultra cool or thY they closed early and figured they better let white in before he batches to someone. Food was good. No complaints.

This location does not take credit cards! What is this, 1986?
This Del Taco is right on my way to work so I would totally frequent it not for the credit card thing… I went in here for the first time the other day and ordered my usual chicken soft taco meal and went to give her my card and she pointed to one of those ghetto fabulous atm machines and said «we have a atm machine you can use over there».
Woah. Thats like mid-​eighties Taco Bell status. This is a newer location right off the freeway and its not a location I would think would practice this.
I shall only be using this Del Taco for its bathroom.

For a moment, I thought I was in Baker. The location where this Del Taco is very busy. A lot of the traffic comes from Rye Canyon Road. I have visited this location last time when Subway was giving away their free Breakfast Tuesdays.
Its hard to enter if you are coming from the north since there are so many cars that you have to wait for to cross. If you come from Magic Mountain Parkway, you won’t have problems entering, but you will have problems exiting so many want to get on the freeway. Usually around noon (lunchtime) and 4:30pm when everyone goes home is a problem to get to.
I ordered only three soft tacos with mild sauce. Originally, it was 69 cents each, but I saw on my receipt that they put a discount titled Taco Nite for 43 cents each. Taco Nite? It was 12:45pm. My total was $ 1.42 including tax. Oh well, I’ll take the discount.
Don’t park your car near the drive-​thru. You’ll have another pain trying to exit the lot. Honestly, I have never seen any Del Taco busy like this. The lady at the window was very friendly, Remember, lunchtime is probably the busiest since its so crowded. It an average location. Just reminds me too much of going to Las Vegas.

I love Del Taco, but this one kind of sucks.
One visit, my fish tacos were dry and crusty. The last visit, the BreakFiesta burrito special was sad. Sad sad sad. I got two tiny little egg and cheese taquitos. NOT burritos, they were smaller. Way smaller.
Burrito fail. Taco fail.

mmm…I use to eat here allllllllllll the time growing up in Stevenson Ranch and I have never waited in line at the drive through. They are always really fast and fresh.
I love their classic tacos, chicken soft tacos, bean and cheese burritos both red and green and their deluxe chili-​cheddar fries. even their burgers are good.
Del Taco rocks my panties.
