The Retina Partners

This is not a commentary on the quality of the physicians or the medical service they provide of which we have absolutely no complaints. This is completely about the culture of the office and their staff.
TWO HOUR WAIT FOR EVERY APPOINTMENT! They say to allow two hours for every visit even though my monthly procedure is about 30 minutes in total, (5 minutes for eye test and dilation drops, 5 minutes for pictures, 15 minutes for dilation, 5 – 10 minutes with the Dr. for a shot.) The assistants do almost everything and the Dr. comes in, and after consulting your chart, does the injection and leaves.
If you dare question the wait, they say, «well we told you 2 hours», in the most rude and dismissive way possible. Perhaps they will throw the «we had an emergency» excuse, also ridiculous because I have been coming here for years (due to insurance restrictions) and they can’t possibly have an emergency every single time. You are just a number to them it seems.
Are you an elderly patient paying for a ride and/​or assistant like me? Too bad, take a seat and you can wait and wait and wait and pay and pay and pay!
Trust me… you will be there for at least two hours, on every visit because they overbook every single day and they don’t care about your time!!! Clearly money is the priority and not the patient!
Once again, don’t bother the front office girls or the office manager guy about the wait because they are busy overbooking and don’t give a second of concern about your time. I’ve mentioned the long waits to Dr. Dadgostar and Dr. Guerami several times and neither one ever really acknowledges the comment or apologizes, they just kind of blow you off every time with a ridiculous, «yeah I guess it’s a little busy today.» Really? Even when I’m first in the morning or after lunch?
I can’t wait until my insurance changes so I can find a Dr. and office staff who actually respect and value their patients and their patients time.

By far the best Retina Specialist we could of been referred to. Dr. Robert Engstrom is such an awesome Dr.

My Mom has been a patient of Dr. Engstrom at THE RETINA PARTNERS for 8 years. She has ALWAYS received EXCELLENT care and respect from the doctors and the staff. She is indeed fortunate to have THE RETINA PARTNERS caring for her vision.
