If you have never been on this ride and reading to see and read for feedback to prepare yourself: Stop reading the reviews. You will only bring much more fear than curiousity and excitement.(But hey, this ride is truly THEBOMB!) But if you insist, here are my thoughts. This roller coaster is superb, thrilling, and OHMYGOSHWHATISHAPPENING kind of ride. Always ride with someone else! I am a Season’s Pass holder and have been on this ride for severaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllll times already. The whiplash that other people are saying here on Unilocal only happens when the car is so light that nobody else is weghing it down. I experienced it myself. I like X2 a lot(heck see I gave it five stars). You see, there were days when I went with friends from other states and we were odd numbered, I volunteered to ride alone since they all were riding this the first time. And for everytime I ride this on my own, the car felt lighter and the whiplash happened towards the end of the ride. But… on days when I get to ride this with someone else, I feel perfectly fine and thrilled and excited and WELLDAMNTHATLETSDOITAGAIN. Tip: go early. Like 30 minutes before the park opens, wait in line outside. When the park opens, run to X2 because this is the ride that gets filled up first. Tip 2: if someone won’t ride in your company, leave them your bags and other valuables. The employees will not let you get on unless you pay for the locker. While the OTHER rides have a spot for free where you can put and leave your items before you get on the ride, X2 has a dollar fee for lockers. Tip 3: in x2, i feel like the front seat is better. Although it doesnt really«visually» matter because the orientation changes when you are on the ride. You will know what I am talking about when you get on. Sometimes you’re in front where you do not see other cars behind you, and then sometimes you are at the back where you see everyone else. Tip 4: make sure the restraints are secured all the way down to your lap(but not tight and uncomfortable). Tip 5: Do not eat before getting on this ride. Tip 6: enjoy! Don’t be scared because this is really not a «scary» ride but more of a thrill-and-fun-and probably profanity-inducing ride.
