I’ve been practicing many martial arts over last 30 years. Sensei Bear is a great instructor. The seibukan jujutsu is the first art that challenged my mental and spiritual self in addition to my physical self. It is very well balanced. I was amazed that the art as a whole usually has an equal number of women to men. Even more amazing to me was that black belts stayed with the art for 10+ years. Unlike tae kwon do Other arts being taught there are Enshin Itto Ryu Battjutsu(japanese sword drawing, cutting, putting sword away.) Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu(Togakure ryu ninjutsu) club Iron cauldron — a Celtic(European) based martial arts There is also a Chinese chi-gung(sorry for spelling.) once a week

I have been training in martial arts for years and found Sensei Bear to be highly skilled in training new students as well as ones that have been training for years. Sensei comes with many years experience and training and often incorporates his life experience in the techniques. I highly recommend this school for anyone who is looking to start in martial arts or looking to deepen their knowledge.

We signed up my 5 year old son for Seibukan Jujutsu lessons to help him increase self confidence and to encourage learning about a real Martial Art versus his preoccupation with all things PowerRanger, BeyBlade, and Ninjago related. This 53 year old was so impressed with Sensei Bear Roberts patience with kids, and incredible knowledge of many Martial Arts, that I signed up too. I feel better mentally and physically, and I’m learning a Method of Self Defense where the emphasis is on being a Modern Warrior interested in the good of the Community, being compassionate, but having incredible Focus, Awareness, Assessment, and Appropriate Action and Self Defense.
