Let’s face it, food in amusement parks are always outrageous. This is probably one of the better places to purchase snacks, that while higher priced is a reasonable value that you will snack on for awhile. I recommend the value of the options in comparison to the others.

We stopped here to get some drinks just after riding the white water rapids ride. I went with a watermelon lemonade, a normal lemonade, and an orange soda. At $ 4 a pop this is pretty expensive but nothing really out of the ordinary for the park. The lemonades were tasty but were overpowered by the amount of sweetner they contained. The earlier reviews are a couple years old and don’t have the updated prices. The«pillow sized» kettle corn is now $ 7.39 but could still be considered one of the better deals in this amusement park.

At Pirate Popcorn at Six Flags they also serve DELICIOUS kettle corn! For $ 5.19 I bought a bag of kettle corn that was about the size of a pillow; huge!!! I brought home at least ½ a bag and still continue to snack on it. Six Flags is a bit expensive but that is the best $ 5 I have spent anywhere in a long time!

$ 3.59 buys you a an ear of sweet corn. Add your own toppings(parmesan, peppers, spices, mayo, hot sauce) at a toppings bar in the sun. A great option if you are a(credit) card carrying vegetarian and you somehow end up here. That’s right, I charged it! Yum.
