I’ve been coming here since high school and the food has never disappointed me. They have the best fish tacos in town and the service is always good!

This place is great! They make the food fast, the front cashier Alejandro(or Alexander) is his name, tall and skinny and in his 20s. He’s very nice and great customer service. My husband and I go there and love the food! Everything is great, and the prices are great and reasonable. Thanks a bunch Tacos Jalisco! Honest Review! –Poison Ivy

I am very addicted to their veggie burritos served enchilada style. The sauce is delicious and the burritos more so. I’ve become a regular weekly addict!

Best fish taco I’ve had. I’ve tried other places but nothing like their fish taco. They use mahi mahi instead of swai or tilapia at the other places. They don’t fry it with flour coverings. All fish with a few garnishing like lettuce, onion, and cilantro.

Been coming here for a while now, overall everything is pretty decent. I do like the enchilada more than anything else though. This is one of the better Mexican restaurant around. Check it out.

Excellent taco joint… no it isn’t high end Mex, but the carnitas are delicious(succulent and meaty, no big lumps of fat or unidentifiable parts) camarones a la diabla are fabulous, but very spicy, use caution if you aren’t a fan of lots of heat. You have lots of options: many tortilla flavors for burritos, choice of guac or sliced avos, black, whole pinto or refried beans, extra meat, sour cream, in addition to tasty meat or veg choices. Fairly extensive menu for a taco shop, I’ve tried several things but usually come back to the quesadillas, with carnitas, salsa, sliced avo, spinach tortilla… not as carb-y as a burrito and always enough for lunch next day. Best part is the very friendly staff… not a dud in the bunch, all smiling and never sullen or grumpy… fast food service jobs can suck the life and kindness out of just about everyone, but here, I have been served by half a dozen workers, men, women, young, old… all are genuinely friendly and courteous to everyone who steps up to order, says a lot about the kind of place this is. Not much to look at from the street, but the food is tasty and good value and perfect when you don’t want to cook dinner… a regular spot for us.

One of my favorite Mexican spots in the area. Clean, good service, and good consistent food. I love the carne asada fries! Just not with the nacho cheese. Lol. I love the Jalisco burrito, chicharrones tacos, Fortas… Yum. My go to spot.

This place is actually very good, expect the taste from the trucks, which to me is very good. But it cost more, being that it’s a restaurant and not a truck that makes sense. The place itself is actually really nice, has an authentic feel from the colors to music. I used to eat here a lot, have no problem coming back.

I’ve only been here once and I can’t wait to go back and try the other options they have. Although, I just might get what I had last time, hehe! I had the super shrimp burrito and you know that feeling a crushing a warlock that just self rezed with your own super? Yeah, that kind of satisfying feeling or how about when you’re watching an animé and the main romantic couple finally kisses? Anyway… you get my drift. They have picnic style seating and it is seat yourself. Just walk in, stand in line, order and have a seat while waiting for your number to be called.

So I just so happen to find this place cause I was craving a burrito from a burrito truck and I seen this place so I gave it a try. I’m in love, the food is on point and the horchata is soo good, not all places know how to make it right. I’ll definitely be back

Great food, great Margheritas, great service! My first time here. I’m new to the area so I was a little septical but my friend wanted Mexican and this is where my GPS said to go. I’m so happy I did!

We enjoyed it. I got the taco/enchilada with chicken combo. I thought it was good. It wasn’t a HUGE portion, but I was satisfied. My husband got the chili verde, He loved it. It was flavorful, huge chunks of meat, great sauce. The lime Margaritas were VERY tastey. Not too sweet, still some tartness. It was VERY heavy on the ice… BUT at $ 4.50 a glass… you can EASY afford two to make up for it. Which I did. yum. Also, I liked the atmosphere. There was great artwork all over the dinning room. HUGE paintings of horses. They were stunning actually. So that was a nice perk.

I went here with my family for my sisters graduation. I’m from Oakland and I was disappointed when I realized that the free salsa was only red sauce and green sauce and not actual salsa. The food was good but the portions were small. For the price I wasn’t impressed with having to pick my food up from the counter and put my own dishes in a bucket. Overall the food is good, but the service could be better.

I am really really surprised that this place is so highly rated. I’ve had my good share of Californian Mexican food, and the food here was definitely well below average. I tried a few different items here: Fish taco with flour tortilla: A rather simple taco, made with tilapia rather than the usual mahi mahi or cod or the likes. The fish didn’t have the same texture or flavor, and the overall flavor was lacking. Regular burrito al pastor: Pretty much, I got a burrito filled with rice. There wasn’t even enough meat to thinly line the burrito. The rice was incredibly dry as well. Pretty much, I doused the burrito in my three small containers of burrito and unfortunately ran out towards the bottom. Definitely advise against getting this. I tried some of my friends’ carnitas and carne asada, and those were rather dry as well. Perhaps I came on a bad day, but Tacos Jalisco definitely did not meet anything close to my expectations for a four star, or even a three star Mexican restaurant.
