What an adorable local bookstore. They have a variety of books, used and new. They place orders by request, and they participate in local promotions. Local artist work displayed, and available for purchase. This month(October) they’re doing a BOGO on used books on Saturdays 2−4pm, and offering a drawing for customers to win a gift certificate. A fun place with down to earth owners. Excellent addition to the downtown area.

It’s cute, it’s full of popular and important books, and is ran by a nice woman with great ideas.

I stopped by after my morning jaunt at the farmers market, and I’m glad I did. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular and I found two books. One paperback for $ 6, and one hardcover for $ 8. I loved the feeling of cozy bookstore. I can’t wait to go again and see what else I find.

Gotta love our new book store! Went in last weekend before hitting the farmers market and met the owners. I purchased a few cards created by a local artist and promised to come back to support their establishment. Loved the window displays and the prospects of joining in on their book club.

I was reading an article from the Vallejo Herald-Times and noticed Koham Press was showcased as «Downtown Revival’s Latest Chapter.» Working in downtown, I decided to pay Koham Press a visit. They are located off of Marin st., and Virginia st. Great location! The huge display windows really grabbed my attention. Once I walked in, I noticed there were a good amount of people inside their store. I was delighted to see this! I over heard people conversing about different books they’ve read and discussing some of books that were on sale. In fact, they were about to conduct a book reading session, super cool! The books itself were very unique in my opinion. I definitely noticed the antique books. Living in a world of kindle and nooks, its refreshing to see an actual book that physically withstand the hands of time. Its like opening up a piece of history. The store felt warm, cozy, and inviting. I love the décor of the store and their Display. I understand that they will provide more varieties of books and I will definitely go back and check it out. Kudos, Koham Press, for being here in downtown. Your neighbors must be proud! We are all rooting for your success!

This is a fairly new establishment that is lacking in a variety of books. I’m sure as the months pass by more books will be rolling in. However, I can’t imagine where they would put more books as the space is fairly limited. The owners seem really nice and pretty hippy. The clerk was barefooted and super friendly. They have spiritual books of beliefs that I have never heard of. They also have many vegan and vegetarian books. The fiction section is pretty sparse. All in all, I love this place and can’t wait to see it grow!

What is this? A bookstore in the downtown parts of Vallejo? Why yes… yes it is!!! While it feels as we’ve waited an eternity for a bookshop to open in Vallejo, the day has finally come and I personally can not be any happier about this. Stopped in for the soft opening on Jan 15th to show my love and support to the quaint-indie style shop. It was what I always longed for. Small, humble, happy, and cute! They sell PM Press books at full price and accept used books with the offer of store credit. Prices were perfect for my tiny budget and saves me the need of falling down the kindle hole. Lets be real… I don’t actually believe in reading a book off a screen. What you mean I don’t have the charge my paper back? This place is a perfect gem and I look forward to revisiting again and again. The assortment of titles will definitely fill the need for most readers(even cook books, especially of the Vegan kind) I’m not Vegan BUT id love to see a juicer/smoothie book for my blender to be put to use with. Thank you for opening a bookstore in my neighborhood, this option continues to make me very happy with the place that i reside.
