US Post Office

Porsche’s first day at USPS.
A great addition.
My local PO. Always try very hard to take care of their customers.

I give the elderly lady 5 stars & I give one star to the person in charge of shipping in the USPS office Mail in Valley Center because I never get my mail on time.
It was completely lost once coming from FedEX & I was told mail coming down from Oregon & Washington is slower. an event ticket was sent from Washington last Friday & it is Saturday today. At the same time a money order was sent from Texas on the same day & they can’t find the event ticket. That’s 8 days. I mention this because
There was a confusion with the mail from Texas & I had to go up to the counter with a piece of paper because I was just added to the mailbox to get it so I begged them to double check for the other envelope and they wouldn’t. What bugs me next is that I had to go back in to double check for the event ticket for today I am missing and she had to help one more customer after me that had a pink piece of paper for a package (because she opened the door to talk to me).
Then I heard her talking to the other girls about how they misplaced his package behind my box but they meant miss organized his large package.
Then the head lady that talked to me told him they almost placed it somewhere else they weren’t supposed to (I held the door open for the man and smiled at the lady)
I also give the man that has a beard 5 stars & the other gentleman one 1 star

This place is great if you want to avoid long lines and want fast service. I came here to try to ship out a package but didn’t know what I needed to do to get this done. The lady at the register helped me out and told me what I needed to do to get my package shipped out. I was returning a defective product and I had a paid return label. The lady suggested to find a small box that would fit my product. I didn’t have one on me so I would’ve had to go find one. But luckily the lady was nice enough to go find me a small box to use. She was very informative and helpful and I was glad that she was helping me out.
I’ll probably have to come back here to finish shipping out my box as I needed to find something to stuff the box with. The line was extremely short on a Saturday. If you’re in the Valley Center area and need to stop by a post office, this one is for you!

Great little Post office! Clerks are friendly, helpful. Lines are not long.

I sent a package out to a town in Texas on Dec. 28 via Priority Mail from the USPS with delivery confirmation. I started tracking the package on the 31^st as it had not been delivered. it sat in a postal facility waiting for delivery until the 18^th of January and was finally received on the 19^th. i went to the post office to get a refund on my priority mail fees and was informed that the post office will not guarantee delivery on anything!!! they would not refund my money. The star above is not a reflection of how I really feel. it should be a big pile of shit instead because this is what the post office has become. No wonder UPS and Fedex kicks their ass so badly and the post office is losing so much money.

They have nice staff and short lines. Probably because it’s Valley Center…
