Valley Forge Service Plaza

Please just admit it, you’ve been driving for an hour and a half and you need gas, but also you forgot to take money out of your bank account, how can you pay the parking without extra quarters?
So you stop on that most desirable of places, the Valley Forge Service Plaza!
They have a Nathan’s, Burger King, Starbuck’s, Uno, Sunoco Aplus and lots and lots of parking. The restrooms are usually clean or are being cleaned as you walk in. There is also a gift shop where you can buy postcards and maps and stuff. It never hurts to double check your directions you got from
and then to just fill ‘er up at the gas station, which recently has been almost the same price as everyone else or about 5 — 10 cents higher. They accept creditcards and have a PNC bank atm, and a big, loud TV that usually has the headline news on.
Having going to Philly dozens of times, this is literally the last stop before you hit the parking lot aka the Schuykill Expressway & The Conshohocken. I’ve sat here for hours at a time during car accidents, downed trees, overturned tractor-​trailers, etc. But at least I have a little peace of mind knowing that I’m all set as far as my vehicle goes.
