From my husband’s and my experience, this is one of the best Bob Evans establishments in the area. We will drive out of the way just for this location. Our last visit, we had a server named Amy. She’s the best! She’s really nice and friendly, very attentive, and accommodating. The service was extremely quick and everything tasted great. This is one of our favorites and we will most definitely be returning and recommend to others.

Our family went on a Thursday night for dinner. The place was dead and I swear the entire staff were high school students. The service definitely showed as nobody really seemed to care about service and they cared more about goofing off and socializing in the back. Had to actually get up to hunt down my terrible waitress to ask for the check after not seeing her for more than 15 min. Guess where she was? In the back… big shocker there. Anyway, we’ve eaten at other Bob Evans as its a decent family restaurant with reasonable prices and the food here was acceptable to BE standards but my god the service was the worst.

It was fine. Nothing to get too excited about. For a place that should specialize in sausage, the patties that I had were dry and seemed like they had been kept under a warmer for some time. It was fine for a breakfast if that is all that’s nearby, but First Watch or even IHOP are better.

It was 2:30PM on a Saturday afternoon. The husband had finally showered, and it appeared as though we were finally ready to have lunch. But where? We thumbed through a stack of coupons and ultimately decided upon Bob Evans. Neither of us had ever been to one. I was wearing new shoes and a new dress as well. So, this was going to be a very exciting day of firsts for me. ;) I honestly thought Bob Evans was a fast-food place, but my husband was pretty sure it was«sort of like Cracker Barrel without a gift shop.» That’s a pretty good description, actually. Both places serve homestyle food in a sit-down setting, and you pay at the counter when you leave. I know I’ve only been once, but I think I prefer Bob Evans over Cracker Barrel. It was more of a place to get some food and less of an event. I’d even say the food was better here, but my opinion might have been influenced by the fact that I was having LUNCH at 3PM and was quite hungry. The husband had a burger with fries. When it arrived at the table, I was a little concerned for him. The fries looked pale, and I assumed they were undercooked. However, they were crispy. I had some and thought they were tasty. The husband claimed his burger was good, too. I had a chicken breast with macaroni and green beans. Everything was pretty flavorful, and I was quite pleased with my meal. The macaroni was almost how exactly how I like it. It was made with a creamy cheese sauce and topped with some melted shredded cheese. I also enjoyed the green beans, which contained ham and onion. My meal came with a choice of bread as well.(I guess they wanted me to go out and buy another new dress after eating this meal.) I chose a biscuit with the intention of letting my husband have it, but we received TWO biscuits. So, I of course had to try one of the them. OMG. So good. I made sure I ate only 49% of it because when you eat less than half of something the calories don’t count. And service was just as good as the biscuit. Our waitress, Amy, was friendly and kept our drinks refilled. A manager even stopped by to ask us how our meal was. Maybe this is one of those scenarios where I set my expectations much too low and ended up being pleasantly surprised, but I just don’t have any complaints about today’s visit. Keep those coupons coming.

Don’t order the chop steak. It is the thinnest I have ever seen. Their hamburgers are thicker. Was clean and friendly staff

This was my first and last visit. The hashbrowns(and replacement home fries) were both burned and raw. Some portions were burnt to a crisp and the rest were raw and cold. The service was ok. My boyfriends steak was so tough and terrible he made a growling dog noise to chew through it when the steak knife failed. The woman sitting beside us took off at a full run 5 times through the restaurant(up and down rows of tables) to chase her toddler escape artist. And finally, a report on my social behavior observation, 8 employees looked at and walked past a spoon which was on the floor in the middle of the walk way without stopping to pick it up.

Went here with my mother. The waitresses name was Amy. I’d highly recommend her if you go there. Previous reviews have told of service problems but I didn’t see any. Whatever problems they may have had in the past seem to be gone. Our food was fresh and in a timely manner. Two thumbs up!

I went here the other day after not having gone to a Bob Evan’s in years. The only complaint I have is that service is typically not the quickest. However, there light menu was amazing, I felt I had a lot of options for someone who is watching their calorie intake, and the flounder was amazing! Definitely will be heading back during lent!

People were in town that wanted to hit up the Bob Evans… so I found myself here… Got myself eggs, grits, sausage biscuits and gravy —the gravy was good and well seasoned… egg was done… grits were bad — -I should have known better —I don’t live down south anymore — -The server was nice but not having a good day with organization. We all did get our food and it was a table of 8 so I guess we did okay and people seemed to woof it all down so we were all pretty happy… The hubby got some crepes and they were good made me hungry to go to a real crêpe place here soon…

It’s not much of a secret what you get when you go to a chain restaurant, especially Bob Evans, but I really do enjoy going here. Part of what I like is the proximity to my house. It is only about five minutes away and can’t eat anywhere closer unless it is my own kitchen(or my neighbor’s.) I’ve had many of their menu items, but my absolute favorite is the biscuits and gravy and it has been for many years. I’m about as fanatical with my sausage gravy as I am with my nachos. It is always so flavorful with a great consistency. Their biscuits are always warm and moist. I don’t think I have found a gravy that compares at another restaurant, well maybe Rooster. Other items I’ve had have been so so. Their take home dinners are really good though and also a good value. It is nice to order before I leave work and pull up at the side door and take it home. They have great home fries and coleslaw. Kids eat free on Tuesdays, so that is also a bonus. As for service, it is generally decent, but we are really low maintenance when we dine here. But they are always friendly and have never messed anything up. So to sum it up, great location(for me), great prices, awesome gravy, decent service.

Bob Evans is your standard casual dining large chain restaurant. It has your standard fare of eggs, sausage, muffins, etc… for breakfast. salads, sandwiches, burgers, etc… for lunch, and pasta, seafood, burgers, etc… for dinner. I had a garden harvest omelette($ 8.50), is a huge 3-egg omelette, which had a tasty combination of spinach, tomatoes, and onions. The portion-sizes are way too large – almost 2x. The place is nothing special – visit out of convenience and not the food.

We follow the coupon trail. Gotta love the chain restaurants for that! If you join Bob Evans email list you will recieve periodic deals on line. This week we recieved a BOGO offer, making it our Saturday morning destination. I had the«Rise and Shine» $ 7.49 2 eggs(OM), well done bacon, well done hash browns, and well done toast. It all came out perfectly as ordered! I find I need to make these requests at all restaurants. If I don’t, I get hash browns that come out on the white mushy side and bread barely toasted. Making these requests fall on deaf ears quite often. Today they heard me. My husband ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs $ 8.79. 2(fresh out of the oven) biscuits arrived with the meal along with the honey bear. I ordered Hot Tea $ 1.99. I mention this, as I find that a very reasonable price for a basket of assorted teas. Earl Grey, English Breakfast, and Green Tea packets. A stainless thermal of hot water and a pitcher of cream was brought to the table. I enjoyed having all the tea I wanted without having to ask for more hot water, and being able to try different varieties. Service was friendly and efficient.
