I put my veggie garden«to rest» this year and wanted to cover it with compost. I tilled the area and applied the compost. When I came back from vacation, I found a carpet of Sedge! 11years and never had Sedge in the garden. Now, I will have to spend a fortune getting rid of it. One of the toughest weeds to eradicate! Wish I knew what you now know after reading this post! I do not recommend this compost!

Simple update — I am a fan of their«Garden Mix» which is a mixture of top soil, mulch and just a small amount of sand. Perfect for planter boxes. We recently used it to top off an area of our front yard to start new growth. We’re starting with a clean slate and a good foundation of «Garden Mix’.

Went back for some mulch today and the service was much better. They loaded my mulch for me without me asking(and I came prepared to do it myself this time!). So, the last time I was here, either they were having an off day, or they’ve changed their practices due to my review. I’d like to think the latter! Anyhow, still the best prices($ 3.50 for almost all kinds of mulch, per bag — way less than other places!). I’ll be back!

THEBEST place for mulch, dirt, rock, they have it all, and so affordable it’s crazy. A pick-up truck of mulch(Excellent quality) is about $ 35!!! Yes you have to spread it yourself but the savings are so worth it. Their dirt is excellent, mixed with manure and so good for your plants. Pay them a visit, you won’t be disappointed
