Pros: Most of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The checkout is usually quick and efficient. Cons: The parking lot is always dirty and garbage is always spilling out of their dumpsters. They pack way to much into their little building so sometimes it’s difficult to navigate around the store. They rarely remember to restock their milk. The shelves can be empty but I can see the milk crates in the back are full.

I can’t fucking stand this place. May the lord have mercy on you if ever need to go to the pharmacy considering that(almost) everyone there sucks. I have never seen HORRENDOUS customer service and such lack of compassion and consideration.(Almost) everyone is rude and pompous and it’s best if you didn’t exist, let alone ask for help. I don’t even know where to begin being that I have received putrid customer service on many occasions but in conclusion save yourself the trouble and don’t bother. I don’t know how anyone could refer to the staff of this place as «The crème de la crème» because that is most certainly a false statement. Don’t bother coming here otherwise this place will just make your existence all the more miserable.

I wasn’t planning on writing a review for a chemist but Unilocal keeps insisting and as ordinary as this business /branch may appear, their service is nothing but extraordinary and T H A T should be reviewed! I use this place quite unlike other people. It’s actually a little grocery store to me when Associates or King Kullen seems too far away. I wouldn’t be exaggerating if I said I come here on average five times a week(sometimes deliberately not checking in). It has a huge parking lot that I’ve never seen filled to capacity yet. It can be a bit pricey and I’m assuming that’s for the convenience of getting my food items right here: snacks, drinks, soups, water, bread, toilet paper, etc. They also carry a super wide selection of feminine and beauty products. The store is well stocked. Items are easy to locate and if queues at the front get too top heavy, they’ll check you out at the actual chemist area at the back. The crème de la crème however is the attitude of the staff! OMG these people are wonderful! It matters not what they’re doing, if a customer needs assistance they’ll stop and lead you to your item, going to great lengths to make sure you get what you came for or a close replacement. Eddie who is often on front checkout is a darling! So pleasant, so hardworking. Sometimes I can tell when they’re really tired but not once have their attitudes towards customers changed because of this. EVERYSINGLEMEMBER of staff! I’ve been coming here for a little over a year and I’m pretty sure I’ve interacted with most of the staff. I’m sorry I didn’t get everyone’s name to publicly thank them here, come to think of it I’m sure I did, but memory fails me, Will update. The End

Basic CVS. Parking lot is hit or miss, usually no parking spots. It’s close to home, but I’d go to the Lynbrook location if possible. Another CVS store with a weird checkout setup.

This used to be my CVS because it was the closest. Since they opened one closer to home, this one is no longer my homebase CVS. I only needed one thing and it was on my way home from work, so I just ran in. For some reason upon entering I felt incredibly claustrophobic. I forgot how small this store was compared to my usual CVS. It’s like they underestimated the size of the store when they were building, so they had to cram everything into it. All the aisles are super close together and narrow. Two people practically bump shoulders trying to pass one another in an aisle. I went over to the machine to scan my card to see if I had any coupons available, and the machine was out of order. grrr… They didn’t have a huge selection of anything and of course the one thing I needed was out of stock! I did end up browsing the nail polish aisle(my guilty pleasure) and picked out a new color to buy. There wasn’t a line(shocka!) but the two open cashiers were in a deep conversation about cars and rims to even notice me standing there. They were pretty perturbed when I interrupted their convo, and needed to be rung up. The nerve of me! Anyway, so much for the one stop shop. I ended up having to go to another CVS just to get what I needed.

This is the bad seed of south-shore CVS’s. It always seems dark in here, because there are light bulbs blown out. And there is always a long line with one cashier open, and that one cashier always seems to be arguing with people trying to return items. Such a good location wasted on a crappy CVS.
