Awesome place. Very kid friendly, very welcoming staff. And they gave us a TON of food. Big plus they didn’t rush us out like another well known hibachi place(starts with a B) and a better value.

If you are looking for a gimmicky habachi place, this isn’t for you. They take their cooking seriously. Sometimes there is a wait, but that’s normal at any hibachi while you wait for the table to fill up. ITIS worth the wait. The food is fresh and delicious(the filet mignon is the my favorite), very clean, and the staff is friendly. A little on the pricey side, but you’re paying for quality.

I am full and the habachi dude didn’t even get to the end of flipping all the food in to my plate. It took a smidge to long and I just had to pack it up for lunch tomorrow. Steep bill– one grown up and 2 kids= $ 60. Taste was ok. With a dab of ginger dipping sauce things got better in my mouth. Cute décor, but it’s not enough to draw me back.

It was Ok… I have been to better hibachi. The portions are small they give you grilled tomatoes which was a first for me and its wasn’t good either. The grilled vegetables is mainly all onions. The food was all really bland also not very flavorful. The inside décor was nice and the place looked clean and the service was very good, but i will not be going back anytime soon.

My girlfriend and I had a date night here about a week ago. The place was lovely, and there is a parking lot but you couldn’t tell at first glance. when we arrived there was a bit of a wait for a table because since we wanted to be seated at one of the tables with the grill in it. We sat at the bar and enjoyed happy hour while we wait. The mixed drinks were excellent. Once seated we ordered, our food came out in portions and it was also prepared in portions. That part I did not really care for because by the time the whole dish was ready part of your food was already cold so you have to eat as it comes out and you don’t get to enjoy your food as a whole. But the place was still a very nice place. I would go back but most likely for just the sushi bar.

Omakase dinner course at sushi bar! This place is known for teppan steakhouse but those in the know come here for omakase course dinner. They have a small sushi counter by the front entrance, seats about 8 people. The chef watched us eat and observe reactions, depend on how we eat, he comes up with the next dish. Every small dish and sushi served was amazing, nicely presented. I paired my dinner with chilled sake, it was so smooth, I ended up having so many cups to the point I forgot counting. Some of the sushi was so good, it literally melted in my mouth. They fly in fresh fish from Tsukiji everyday, brining the best to the table. I really enjoyed my dinner that night. I think we were there for about 3 hours? It’s a middle of residential area, one has to know it’s here to come. I highly recommend omakase course dinner to experience fine Japanese dinner.

How do I say this the right way. How a Japanese steak house run with out Japanese people working there was strange. Not that I have an issue with a non Japanese cook but it was my 11 yr old sons birthday and he wanted to go for a long time. He was waiting for a show that never came. No onion volcano with that peeing statue no flip of the the shrimp no cracking eggs. In fact no eggs. No flip to the hat. Food very expensive but much meat just above avg. End of the day was more dissapointed for my son food same in most of these places.

So this place has gone downhill. The food is mediocre, and the portions are small. Then when we had the bill we split between a few cards. Some how we got charged almost double what was expected. And it’s not like the other cards were charged less. We were just all over charged. Thanks asses

The food is good. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. The prices are great(3 adults for less than $ 150). The waitstaff is pleasant and responsive and the cook puts on a show. It’s a great local restaurant. Definitely coming back.

Ok… we’ve been back 3 times in less than 30 days. What’s the big deal you say? We’re from Rocky Point out east on the North Fork and it’s 62 miles each way! Never could get my wife to try Sushi… now, it’s «Can we go to Inatome tonight?» There’s a little piece of heaven hidden in Valley Stream: Inatome!

I was a patron of this restaurant until I moved to NC8 years ago and I really miss it. I haven’t found anything comparable here inn the Raleigh Triangle. It was consistently excellent, the best ginger dressing and dipping sauces. Here in the South, they cook hibachi with a sauce. Tasty, but not the same. I’ve been to Benihana up north and it didn’t hold a candle to Inatome.

Wow inatome can still get it done after all of these years! NHad a nice meal with my family. I eat vegan. They made the vegetables for me with no butter or soy sauce as per my request. The food was great. My two young kids enjoyed the show and their food. Chef did a fine job. Nice guy. He has been there for 11 years! And the waitress was really good. She knows her job and how to move things along and make people happy. So 5 stars for sure! Fresh food. Tasty. Made to order. Great service. I highly recommend.

The food was okay. Came here and sat at a regular table and still got hibachi. It is different than any other hibachi place I’ve been to. They give you tomatoes and purple potatoes with your meal. I also didn’t like that they cut my steak in strips and not cubes, with no knife. The pieces were too long to eat whole. They also don’t have yum yum sauce.(white sauce) The Kani salad was also different. It had like a sesame oil dressing on it and was more salad than Kani. Probably won’t come back.

Went tonight for the first time since the renovation. The interior is beautiful. Kieran was our waiter. He made awesome suggestions that we were pleased with. The menu is very decently priced, food was great, portions were perfect and the staff was super friendly. We will definitely be returning soon. I recommend the lychee martini and the Japanese beer that is marketed on the table.

Sat at the bar and had a great drink and meal. The ginger salad dressing is the best. Shrimps where very clean and tasty. Bartender was a REAL bartender! Meaning he knows how to make a drink. The meal came with their onion soup. Not much to look at, but has a great taste. Children friendly and great with groups. A must visit if your in the Valley Stream area.
