As my regular tech at another salon was off and desperately needing nail attention, I turned to Unilocal.Kathy Nails was open on a Sunday, nearby and has good (if not a supect few) reviews. I booked an appointment and went in with a super positive attitude, I NEEDED THIS to go well.
The music station that was on played easy listening tunes which lend itself to an overall blissful experience while Susan the owner, gave me my pedi hot stone massage. After the past weeks I’ve had, I closed my eyes and made it all float away… for 6 mins.
My feet felt and looked kissable soft after. I also paid $ 8.00 for a ten minuet back massage. $ 2. off because my total bill was more than $ 25.00. Wish my massage was longer. You can pay for longer but I’m on a budget.
Their salon is small and very typical in the way of nail spots. Nothing fancy but not shabby either. Just get your nails done and bye.
The techs were all very quiet as they attended to clients and I appreciloved this. They also offer the usual loyalty card.
I give this spot a solid 3. There is room for improvement but my nails are no longer naked. Kathy Nails is affordable, they also seem kind, professional and and ThatsIsAll.

A friendly, homey place. Not fancy — but it was my first time and they were clean and efficient.
I don’t think my person spoke fluent English so there was not much talking — which works for me too. She did a great job — manicure (with shiny buffing) and pedicure with callous removal. There is a short massage in the pedicure. Would love it for more time — which I wanted to ask if they have that option but it was crowded and busy (around the holidays) so I just wanted to get out.
I am looking forward to coming back on a slower day.

Ugh I love this place. My sister took me and the ladies here are just great and so attentive. The young lady gave me such a great message and didn’t rush at all. Definitely best manicure and pedicure I’ve ever received.

I must be honest and say when I first walked in and saw only one person getting a pedicure on a Saturday afternoon, I was worried that maybe this place wasn’t good BUT I had a pleasant experience at Kathy nails. I was looking for someplace new where I could find parking. I walked into Kathy Nails saturday afternoon about 1pm… the atmosphere was quiet a nice surprise to the meat market style of other nail salons. Nancy took her time and did my filling and pedicure.
So here are the stats:
–Nice selection of polish OPI, Essie, etc.
–Not many designs or specialties such as seashell (designs under filling powder)
–Regular Pedicure$ 16 (–which included soak, nail treatment, hot stone, massage and paraffin wax on my heels)
–Use of razor $ 3 (for my tired calloused feet)
–Slipper $ 2 optional (yeah I know I forgot to bring mine)
–Acrylic powder filling $ 17 (additional for pink powder)
–Clear gel top coat $ 5
So my total was $ 43 not bad since the massage for my hands and feet were really good.
It was a pleasant experience because for the first time in a long time the nail technician took time with my nails, feet and gave nice massages… It was a nice quiet afternoon I will definitely return again.

Great place. Susan is the owner and is the sweetest most accommodating person. I Always leave satisfied no matter what I get done.
