I read the previous reviews, but I had just come out of the Michaels at gateway and they are so poorly stocked with cricut and diecutting materials I decided to give it a shot &WOW they literally have everything — the store is a little smaller than gateway but it has everything cricut — seriously a huge wall stocked with vinyl in assorted styles I found a beautiful gold foil and everything else I needed the store might be smaller but don’t be deceived they have everything & then some!!!

The customer service became better after they redo the building. Most time I feel happy after shopping at Michaels in this location.

I have a love hate relationship with Michael’s. I want to rate it higher but I barely can people that a knowledgeable enough to help me when I need it. I’ve seen employees hiding in the aisles to text on their phones or be completely ambivalent to the fact that I a self proclaimed crafter needs assistance. I love Michael’s because of the coupons. I love to save a coin here and there. So yes craft gods keep them coming into my inbox. With my upcoming nuptials and the fact that the nyc school system feels I don’t do enough as a parent, I know I’ll be checking into michaels a lot more.

I must say, this is my last resort of a Michael’s. I hate to say it but I just think this is the most unorganized Michael’s around. Another Unilocaler mentioned getting lost in this store and liking it. Me not so much. When I go to Michael’s, I know what I need and want to get, and then out ASAP. I have another Michael’s I go to to just walk around for hours. This one is just closer to home. Anyway, I was making invites for my nieces wedding and was looking for a particular item I knew Michael’s carried. I walked up and down aisles looking for assistance and seriously there were no employees I could ask where the item was. I was getting seriously frustrated then I walked by the frame department and saw some activity. I pulled up a pic of what I was looking for and meekly excused myself because I was about to interrupt their personal convo. The employee who turned around rolled her eyes and stomped over to me. I asked if she knew which aisle I could find the item. She glanced at the pic, and just said«No.» Hmmm. I kept my composure and walked away. At that point I was ready to walk out when I passed an aisle with the ribbon bows I was looking for. I held myself back from yelling«thanks for the help!» I picked up all the stock and made my way to the line. It was super long(as usual.) I can’t knock the cashiers though. I made my way up to the front, sweating profusely after waiting in line for 15 minutes in my winter coat. I placed my items on the counter and as the cashier rung the item up I saw there were footprints all over the back of the black foam core I was buying. At this point, I was so done. I figured whatever. There is no way I am getting a new one and wait back on line. I will just go to my usual Michael’s the next day, and return it. Just then, the lovely cashier broke my planning thoughts and said«Oh I can’t sell this to you. I will ring the rest of your items up and you can just go get a new one. Don’t worry, I will hold your items here at the register.» NICE! I paid for my stuff, ran to the back of the store, grabbed my foam core, and cut the line the wrong way to retrieve my items. I felt like a rebel. I really was so appreciative of this which is a little sad because a good customer service nowadays, is kinda unheard of. I couldn’t thank the cashier enough and walked out in a good mood.

I’m obsessed with arts and crafts and themed projects including tons of DIY. This place is always so organized. I rarely ask for help when I come here because I know where everything is for the most part. Its such a fun store. BEWAREOFHOLIDAYSEASON. The lines get sooooo hectic around xmas, easter, halloween etc. They always have great sales too!

Came in here for a couple of quick items for an event that I am having. The store is fairly organized and clean which made a quick trip actually quick. Shocking I know!!! I have to confess though that I did need to ask for help locating some items, but the gentlemen who helped me pointed me in the right direction and helped keep my trip smooth. Definitely be back…

This Michael’s is new. The one in Lawrence closed down after sandy and they open this one up. It’s a big muchaels with well stocked shelves. The people that work here are helpful and knowledgable. This store is always well lit and clean. The crafts room is nicely decorated for birthday parties. I have no complaints. There is a Large parking lot as well.

Very nice and clean. Workers are more than accommodating and everything is easy to find. Started the Wilton Cake Decorating Class with my mom and I love it!
