Lovely atmosphere, great service and variety of coffee and tea selections. Comfortable seats with a hint of an artistic ambiance.

If you are anywhere close, you have to stop in! They have a great selection of coffee’s, tea’s and delicious yumminess to snack on. It is a great atmosphere, very comfortable and welcoming. They are very involved in the community, and always have something going on; comedy night, open mic, magic, trivia, live music & more! They also feature a new local artist each month.

UGH I am SO torn… I REALLY wanted to love this place… I’ve been meaning to try it and finally stopped in twice this week(Thurs and Fri). The barista is so pleasant. I asked a bunch of questions about their menu and the difference between a «latte» «latte macchiato» «macchiato latte» how many shots of expresso is used, etc. He was excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly and not in a way that might annoy someone at 7:30am. BUT the point of my visit was for the coffee not the barista — and the coffee was just MEHH. First time around I ordered a medium cookie dough latte macchiato. It was like all milk no coffee and got cold pretty quickly. I wasn’t happy with it but decided to go back the next day to try something else. This time I ordered a small pumpkin spice latte with a shot of expresso(because it doesn’t already come with coffee… what? I’m glad I asked…) He wasn’t sure if they had any pumpkin spice left but then said they did — BUT my coffee ended up being a strong gingerbread flavor. It definitely was not pumpkin spice. I even had my coworker taste it to make sure I wasn’t crazy. I hate ginger and will only have it if it’s the real deal that my mother makes. I’m sure they would have corrected the order but in the morning there just isn’t time for that and by the time I realized I was already en route to work. Thankfully, I get a lot of sleep so AM coffee is more of a ritual for me than a necessity. With that being said, my day wasn’t disrupted by the fact that I didn’t finish/enjoy my coffee. HOWEVER, I could see this really bothering others. Especially when both drinks were $ 4+ each. I will try to return in the future for a 3rd go because the place is really cute, appears to be successful, and I like supporting local businesses.

I had the almond steamer and it was great, but not overwhelming. We came into the café on magic night & the magician was awesome. Definitely will be coming back in for the great drinks and for magic night.

I’ve had the apple crumb cheesecake which was very delicious. the décor is very cozy with wonderful paintings all over the place. this is definitely becoming a regular spot for me to just hang and get a little coffee and dessert.

Very cute coffee shop. Located in an unassuming part of Valley Stream, I found it on Unilocal after trying to explore beyond the five boroughs and was apprehensive after visiting other portions of Nassau County. Boy, I was wrong, I really like this joint. It’s cozy, lots of seating and the employees were super friendly. I was also happy to see how late they were open, very rare. This seems like a popular spot on the weekends, I saw couples stroll in and out, young mothers meeting up for coffee and young students meeting up to hangout/study. It made me super nostalgic of the cafes back home. The are prints displayed on the walls are amazing, lots of creativity, I believe if I lived a tad bit closer I could see myself chilling here for sure. Considering the congestion in this area, I found parking on side streets and even in larger lots behind businesses so thats always a plus coming from the city. Now, ambience and service was great. Food and coffee wise what I had was okay. I had the white chocolate mocha and my friend had a chocolate mocha. Visually, it was pretty, nothing too fancy and service was quick. My mocha was a tad bit sweeter but was happy that they cater to allergies and dietary restrictions. I ordered the tomato basil quiche, which was pretty big for 7 bucks but a little watery for my tastes. Overall? Interested to come back again because of the coziness and creativity of this establishment.

I’ve been coming here since high school and really enjoy it. The staff is friendly and welcoming. There are different types of sitting arrangements, like large tables, smaller tables, a couch depending on what you need. There are board games. I generally like the playlist they have going. It is a place to hang out for all ages which is hard to find in this town. We underestimate the importance of having safe public places for kids to socialize, study together, share a good snack. This really deserves praise and I wish they had been around a bit earlier. They have open mic nights too. Seeing local talent and giving them support is awesome. They have a good selection of drinks/food. Being lactose intolerant I can appreciate that they have soy milk and almond milk options. They also cater to those that are gluten-free, vegetarian.

Credit minimum $ 4. I went looking for a Jamaican-me-crazy flavor but they only have rain forest crunch which tasted just like hazlenut coffee from 7-eleven(not as bad as it sounds). I wish I didn’t have to take the coffee to go because it seems like a cozy store with plenty of seating. I’ll be trying their unflavored coffee soon.

Sip this is one of the few and far between found local one of a kind coffee shops in this area. It was what you would expect from this type of establishment. I got the white hot chocolate on a whim & could not finish it, it was too sweet & rich for my taste. Also had an over priced coffee cake which I suspected not to be homemade. I went here once and will likely not return.

Atmosphere: chillllll.(music: 2000s hits) interior Design: cute. vintage. Local artwork. Food selection: various drink selections(mostly sweet) & desserts. Not much«real» food selections. Just bagels, salads, waffles and quiches. quality of food: tomato/basil quiche was surprisingly really good! big portion. moist fluffy egg and not too cheesey. just the right amount of basil/tomato. 15 min wait lil long but worth it. serendipiTea loose tea was aromatic. almond Graham treat(next to register) wasn’t great tho. too sweet like candy. Service: blonde girl who attended me was very patient and nice. however, the past times, the co-owner I believe, she’s a brunette with highlights, always appears serious. sip this is a nice café. it’s VERY community involved. they’re always having events several days in the week. if you have a sweet tooth stop by cause you’re cravings will be satisfied. it gets crowded mostly fri/sat. I like how the café stays open late. great for night owls. Ive stopped by here a couple of times w/friends and tbh i don’t have a sweet tooth or am a coffee person… butttt… I’d come back to try another quiche. :)

Sip This is a sort of kitchen away from home. The type where you just want to sit back and drink cups and cups of coffee or tea and never leave. Warm, inviting yet with a bit of spunk. Don’t ask me how I came to the latter, I am not able to explain at this time, it’s what I feel. I like it here. For reasons safety being one of them I usually check in after I’ve already left an establishment or as I’m walking out the door. As I was getting ready to leave Sip This and did my check in, I realized that I had a Unilocal offer. When this happens I usually shrug and think next time, but as I was the only customer at the time I jokingly asked Shannon the barista, if I still get my free coffee. Without hesitation she quickly said«yes of course!» Money back! Woot-woot! I’d already paid and if the answer was«No» I would have been guite content honoring it another time. Shannon used her head and expertise as a CSR and made a regular customer out of me. I always emphasize how impressed I am by the little things. Dear Future husband, If you’re reading this it isn’t the little things with rings. It can be small but the price of the quality should be long. Sincerely, Wifey(to be) The End.

Overall 4 Stars Food: 4 stars(Limited) Service 4 stars Atmosphere 5 stars Value: 4 stars(limited) The daughter had a birthday party to go to so I needed to kill time while waiting to pick her up. I «Yelp-searched» for bakeries and found this place. Instant reaction: i’m glad i don’t live that close, because i fear I would be spending a lot of money at this place. Food: Limited comment: I only ordered a couple squares, both of which were excellent. Coffee was excellent too. I understand they have more of a menu. no comment on that. Service: Excellent. Excellent suggestions and very friendly. Atmosphere: I loved it. i could just hang out here and eat baked items and drink coffee and read. However, I wonder if it gets crowded with the college kids? Still, excellent. Value: Limited comment: Baked goods were much cheaper than I thought they would be, and i got my coffee for free for checking in. So yay! Bottom line: Great coffee shop that’s too far away from me for regular patronage.

How have I not written a review for Sip This? I basically spend my life at this magical caffeine oasis. I just love everything about this place– the colors, the layout, the staff, THECOFFEE. Sip This has a large variety of beverages: so many coffees, teas, smoothtea(which is a mix of tea and a smoothie: AMAZINGLYDELICOUS) and plenty of treats to help you enjoy that yummy beverage. All of their coffees are flavorful, but my favorites are the specialattes. I always get a Fat Fletcher(which has heavy cream and is heavenly): but all of their drinks are awesome hot or iced. When they have it, their hot apple cider is the ABSOLUTE best! If you choose to stay with your drink, you get these cute huge mugs, I love ‘em. As for treats– they have a nice selection. They have these awesome pecan tarts, various breads(banana nut & pumpkin are awesome), and they have bagels and croissants. Oh, and if you’ve never had a croissant with peanut butter– stop reading this, go to Sip This, and get one. They also have awesome fresh Belgian waffles with yummy toppings: my preferred combo is Nutella and strawberries. The staff is honestly the best: I’ve never had a bad experience. They really care about the area and put so much work into making a really awesome creative and social hub! They make this place as awesome as it is because they love what they do. They constantly have events and entertainment. They have live music most weekends, open mic nights, comedians, and so many more cool events! One of my favorite times to visit is in the early afternoon with my friends, we sit for hours and drink copious amounts of coffee– and we play board games that Sip This provides and just make new memories. Their weekend hours are late too, which is awesome because it gives us an great place to hangout! Sip This is just the perfect go-to spot for myself and my friends. Many awesome memories are made in this place! Love it, love it, love it.

The pumpkin spice latte makes me go to sleep. Its a great introduction to the cold weather of New York. The employees are well trained and are very laid back. This a hidden gem when I need a place to study or I need a warm treat with sweats!
