they were perfect, i made the appointment and two days later my van was fixed, My tech Ernie (Robert) was great and it as done in a timely manner. very easy to work with well worth the money, people talk like cheaper is always better i go with you get what you pay for and the warranty and fast service is worth more then saving a buck. We’ve tried that before it never works out

Safelite DOESN’T repair. Safelite DOESN’T replace. Safelite DOESN’T show up to the appointment… Safelite DOESN’T get my business anymore.
I easily made an appointment online for a crack in my windshield to be repaired. I chose the available time slot of 8am to 12pm for a few days later. I received several emails and a text to remind me of my appointment and also changed my work schedule to fit in their time slot. The morning of my «appointment» I received a phone call from the technician around 8:15am. The tech asked my appointment time, and proceeded to say he couldn’t get there until after 12pm due to being «over-​booked» and «Would this be a problem? You got something else to do?» I said I had to be at work. I called the main office looking for a resolution & to get another tech out to me. They were just as uncaring on that end. I asked why I couldn’t have been told a day or so beforehand and rescheduling… She attempted to look for later dates without any concern with my time being wasted.
Needless to say but I took my business elsewhere for half of the price and completed within an hour and a half of Safe-Lite’s phone call.

My place of employment utilizes the service on our fleet of vans. After meeting and talking with one of the technicians, who by the way was very courteous and professional I new that when my daughters car window was broken due to theft, that Safelite was the company I would be calling. The technician called while he was in route, arrived within minutes of the call and replaced the car window promptly. Very courteous and professional gentlemen.

I had my windshield fixed recently and it only took an hour! Service and staff were great!

I recently had my windshield replaced on my 2013 Subaru WRX. The representative arrived at my house on time, and was very professional. He did an excellent job replacing the windshield. He even vacuumed out my car! The windshield actually looks better than the stock one. I will definitely recommend this service to anyone.

So here it is disabled veteran had some kids vandalize my truck had safeite come out and install new back window a month past and I started driving my truck because weather changed and I couldn’t drive my old Jeep anymore went over some tracks rather fast window shattered .call Safelite it was after hours they were not going to send anybody out I called another company lo and behold Safelite forgot to install the seat belt bolts to the post correctly were my small children sit. The rear passenger seat belt actually came off the post because the bolt was not there on top of the Trim bolts missing that they didn’t put it. Had my Day in court but as always the little guy who can’t afford representation because he only make $ 777 a month for a pension for getting hurt in Iraq can’t afford attorney loses his case on top of the initial 380 I’m also out 600 for the emergency repair from another company I would never use them again and would recommend you guys scrutinizing and checking their work before you sign off of anything don’t trust their workmanship

The service here was terrible. After two hours so called work, they only replaced the glass… when I checked the car there’s still a lot of broken pieces around the window frame and inside the trunk door. And they claimed they can’t vacuum it out (which supposed to be very simple and must-​do job for a professional auto-​glass repair shop). After I got home and found out the viper didn’t work and came back to this shop to ask the mechanician why they didn’t fix it and the guy yelled me back!!! Yea… HE YELLED ME BACK!!! That’s the attitude I got back!!! And they claimed that they’re a glass replacement/​fixing company they don’t do mechanical work at all. So they don’t care about if your parts are still working or not, which however their receptionist over phone told you they’re going to fix everything and make it look like new. After I talked to the manager (actually an elder mechanician, manager wasn’t there), the mechanician before seemed to know how to behave and willing to do all the clean up I asked before. So irritated. Don’t recommend at all. If you guys are still willing to come to this store, check carefully after their work done (especially glass replacement). Safeguard ur rights.

I had my window replace at my university’s garage. The installer, i forget his name, was very prompt, courteous and professional. After I took him to my car, he explained the process excellently, then texted me when the job was completed. When I returned to my car, he had cleaned the inside, way beyond what i was expecting. I DEFINITELY WILL RECOMMEND YOU COMPANY TO OTHERS IN NEED.

My experience with this company was terrible. When my car was vandalized, I needed to get the window fixed quickly so I called my insurance and was referred to Safelite. I should have found a place on my own. I took my car in and had to leave it there for over a day to get an appointment. Then on the day of my appointment they called to see if I needed to reschedule because they had forgot my car was already there, and complete. Who knows how long it had been done. When I went to pick up my car, there was still glass everywhere, including tiny shards on my drivers seat which I had specifically asked if they could vacuum. I paid this company almost $ 400 for a new window after some punks took a crowbar to it and they couldn’t even do a decent job. Seriously poor service by all but one of the staff as well. If you need a window replaced, I strongly encourage you to shop around and find a better place than safelite. Anywhere is probably better.

I can’t give them 5 stars only because I just think they are expensive but it’s a service that is needed.
The best part of my experience is that they told me that it would be anywhere from a 1.5 to 2 hours to wait (I went to the location because it was cheaper) and I only ended up waiting 1 hour! Wahoo!

I recently had Safelite AutoGlass replace our windshield. The service was TOP NOTCH from beginning to end. Literally, from the initial connection with them through my insurance company (USAA) to the very end when the technician gave me the pamphlet with their warranty information and said good bye. The phone rep who set the appointment was very friendly and set up the appointment. I selected the mobile service where they come to your home to do the job. You pay an additional fee for it, but I recommend it for its convenience, especially when you couple it with a Saturday service call.
The company communicates well, they sent an email confirmation to me about my appointment confirming the location of the repair, the cost of the job, an estimate of how long the repair would take, and of course the time and date of the appointment. The morning of the repair, they sent another email. This time with a photo of the technician who would be showing up to do the work.
The tech called in the morning to let me know when he expected to arrive to our house and he showed up when he said he would. He was courteous and got right to work. I hope I don’t crack another windshield again, but if I do, I will definitely go with Safelite and highly recommend anyone to choose them for your auto glass needs.

With the exception of Safelite’s telephone operators misquoting cost which was later honored, this location was very professional. The chip was healed but looked worse but was strong again. I think it’s better to just replace the windshield instead.

Absolutely every person I spoke to was helpful and legitimately friendly.
I arrived late to pick-​up my car — no problem. 110% satisfied.

Just an update because we had a little chip in our windshield repaired yesterday. The staff is professional, from the woman at the office who called to confirm the appointment to the technician (Keith) who worked on our car.
Our window was 8 – 1. Yikes. We figured it would probably not be until at least 10. But at 7:53, Keith called to give us a heads up that he was about 20 minutes away. Great!!! Like I said in my first review of Safelite, this is unheard of!!!
He was upfront about what was to be done and did the job within 20 minutes. It was so easy. And of course the best part was that they came to the house.
Best customer service and overall satisfaction from any car-​related service I’ve had in Cleveland.

Really Safelite?
That’s almost all the effort I want to give this review. For the most part — the staff here is friendly and willing to answer your questions. Attention to detail? Not so much.
I went in to have my windshield on my (not even three month old) Altima repaired yesterday morning and was told it wasn’t going to happen. While dissapointing and not Safelite’s fault, I was still sad. That being said they did not have time available for the replacement and I was told I would have to wait a considerable amount of time or I could come back later in the day. I came back at 2pm the same day & surprise! The windshield they wanted to replace mine with was broken… «sorry, you’ll have to come back tomorrow.»
So, I traveled there this morning — and when the technician came out to do the preinspection I thought he was joking when he said, «we have some bad news.» Turns out — the shipment was never delivered and I would have to wait YET AGAIN (not to mention drive another 60 miles roundtrip) to come back when they could get the windshield in. I nearly threw a fit.
The manager came out and was nice enough to say that he was having someone drive a windshield up from Akron for me. Unfortunately my hour and a half wait turned into nearly two and a half hours. Aside from that Safelite used a PGW replacement and not Pilkington which I thought was unfortunate. The «shade» line at the top of my windshield is almost nonexistant and you can see right through it. I miss my factory windshield.
If I ever need another one (god forbid) I don’t know that I will return here unless I’m forced.
As for the parking — there’s enough, as for the waiting room — it’s small, not climate controlled and had baby spiders running around everywhere, ew!
Mobile service next time, for sure.
