I don’t know if the prices have gone up or not. $ 2.50 Pork Chop Sandwich with Lettuce and Tomato. $ 3.00 Whole Catfish. $ 2.50 Country Fried Steak Sandwich.
Seems like the best value in America.

This place is the best. It really does not exist with the exception of his phone calls. This place is rather a place that everyone wishes they had in their lives… a place to go listen to an old wise man talk about the future and the way things used to be. This man and his voicemail are a true gem for the American people.

I’ve been moving back and forth between NY and New Orleans and have been there at least 4 times. CLOSED each time! Pity, but I went for a walk around there with my dog and there’s a very strange junk yard in the back.
Am going to give it another try on Thursday!

Have you ever been to The Den? I haven’t, and I don’t know anyone who has. But I call Dell’s Den all the time! Usually when I’m drunk, or bored waiting for the bus, or when I’m drunk and bored waiting for the bus!
Dell’s Den is the mother of all hole in the wall dive bars, and it is located in the original BFE (Valley, Alabama). You, too, can call The Den. Then you can hear Dell’s weekly, pre-recorded description of Den goings on, his rants about any mischief the customers have been making, and his feelings on respect, world peace, and no good triflin’ ‘hos.
I recommend putting this number in your phone. 334−756−3336
