Five Below

I like 5 Below & was thrilled to see one come into our town. Prior to this store opening the closest one was in Merrillville.
This store is much cleaner (maybe because it’s new) & has a fresh stock. They still have all the standby’s: candy, phone cases, knickknacks, shirts, seasonal, etc. It’s fun just to look around & see what you can find.
Downfall– Apparently they hire only young people to work here. I normally think that’s great, but they may want to talk to their employees about conduct. I have been here 3 times now & each time I have encountered very unprofessional employees. Anything seems to go: playing, rough housing, yelling throughout store, cussing, & a bit of rude behavior. All in all it is not appealing to customers & may make them avoid the store.
