I’d just like to add that after a month of having the great guys at kent come out and do a great job, the owner personally called to thank me for the business. Much like the two workers thanking me it was unexpected but very much appreciated.

Having lived in Valpo since my graduation from VU in 1970 I feel well-​qualified to render a fair and informed evaluation. I have found Kent Heating and Air Conditioning to be consistently honest, fairly priced and generally competent. Whether dealing with Alan Kent himself, sales people like Don Staack, or the technical people installing, servicing and supporting the Kent field and sales staff, I have had nothing but good experiences. Over the years, they have replaced my entire HVAC system and rezoned my home. Most recently, I had Kent install a replacement water heater, a small garage furnace and run a gas line to service a new outdoor grill. As always, the job was competently designed, competitively priced and installed to my total satisfaction. It is a pleasure to deal with Alan Kent and his team. You can trust them to treat you fairly, provide a competent evaluation and follow through with a timely, high quality installation. If I sound loyal and satisfied, it’s because I have become so. More importantly, I know the organization to be headed by a person of integrity who has earned my trust over the years. I recommend Kent Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc without reservation.

Terrible. If you want to be charged a high fixed cost for a five minute visit that doesn’t solve your problem, call Kent. And it’s not like they diagnosed the problem in five minutes, just looked around and told me some options for diagnosing it myself and suggested I call the company that installed the AC unit. I knew it didn’t solve my problem, but I didn’t realize just how sub-​par the service was until I got another AC company to come out. They were able to diagnose the problem, get it running fine, and they took the time to check out the system and explain things to me.
