Diane is amazing! I contacted her on a Saturday morning to see about getting a dress taken in. By Saturday night it had been completed! I was so impressed with her and the work she had done, that I immediately brought her another dress that she restyled for me, completely changing the sleeves just as I had envisioned and making the dress 10x more beautiful than it was to begin with. This was actually a tricky task that a lessor seamstress would have fumbled, but Diane brainstormed and came up with a solution to achieve the look I wanted right away. She has definitely earned ALL of my business going forward and I will be sure to send everyone I know her way.

I’ve never had anything altered before, and know next to nothing about the whole process. So I was worried about having my son’s 1st suit altered. But we were treated like friends and his suit was done the very next day. For a very reasonable price! Try SDK, you won’t regret it!

After I had a not so great experience at another alteration/​bridal shop, I looked up SDK embroidery and decided to go with it. Diane is very nice, her house is clean and professional, and the service was stellar. She is absolutely the professional. I took my wedding dress to her on Monday and it was done by Wednesday, and the price was as reasonable as I could have imagined. She is definitely a Godsend, and I will be taking all my things to her from now on.

I had a wonderful experience with SDK Embroidery. I needed to get a bridesmaid dress shortened for a friend’s wedding. Diane was very quick to respond to my email and schedule an appointment. She is very professional, yet also a kind and warm person. I brought the dress in on a Friday and she said she could have the dress done the next day. I told her I wasn’t in a hurry, but she still had it ready for me on Monday. Wonderful work and attention to detail. I highly recommend Diane for any alterations or embroidery work!

Unbelievable experience. Diane got back in touch with me immediately after I emailed her and she scheduled a time to meet. I needed a pair of pants altered for a wedding. When I met with her, she had a solution right away. I dropped off around 5:00 p.m. and she called me at 9:00 a.m. the next day that she was finished! Her work was very professional. Not only that, she is VERY affordable. I highly recommend her to everyone — I will absolutely use her services for my future needs.

There’s aren’t enough words of Thanks for Diane for such a fine job. I found her on Unilocal after calling 3 other business whose numbers had been disconnected. We needed my daughters communion dressed hemmed. We made an appointment the morning of and she was expecting us. Her home and place of business is extremely clean and welcoming and she provided a fast and reasonable price for the alteration that we needed.
I plan to use her again and again. Her attention to detail was superb and she did a fantastic job on the 3 layers of hems that the dress needed. If you are in the Northwest Indiana area and need a professional seamstress or embroidery service, I would highly recommend her above all.
