Great food as always. Worst staff I’ve ever encountered at any Cracker Barrel. The hostess was alright but our server Keisha was terrible and had an attitude as well. The only happy souls on this building were the manager on duty and the checkout counter gentleman. Cracker Barrel is supposed to be southern comfort food and the food is delicious but where’s the southern hospitality?

I’ve heard of this place but we don’t have any in California. I figured since I was here I’d try it out. Oh my gosh this place is amazing! Low prices and huge amount of food! Love this place. Excellent taste. Great place

Great food and service. Can always count on a smile and a tasty meal. Love the country store too. Reminds me of my grandma’s cooking and the candy, of my childhood. So if you like good country cooking and friendly people I suggest you try this place out.

The Old Country Store is interesting. The restaurant is Old Country dinning. The service was OK. The food is good, home cooking style but nothing special. This place need some cleanup.

Nothing says southern comfort food and feel like Cracker Barrel. Always a delicious hot meal and friendly service. The ambience is 5 stars for making you feel like you enjoying a good ol meal at grandmas cabin. The store is always an enjoyment for the family and friends to browse while waiting for seat or before you leave the restaurant. It’s one of my favorite breakfast places and certainly I love the hash-brown casserole.

This is my own fault. It’s like Olive Garden. I know people love these places and they all their own reasons. Me? I only visit places like the Cracker Barrel when I have to which is seldom, because I’m good at avoiding things like this. So why don’t I like the Cracker Barrel? It’s like a countrified disneyland for bad food and a fake culture that never really existed other than, maybe, in the background of old Hee-Haw episodes. The food is terrible. And by terrible I mean it’s awful in ever way. There are no redeeming factors. And I don’t care what you get. Face it, Cracker Barrel the cafeteria at the old folks home with gussied up atmosphere. And that’s why some folks love them and, as they say here in Florida, «bless ‘em.» The service is usually nice and prompt. I can’t and won’t drag those hard working people down. They deserve better, most of them at least. They try hard under arduous conditions. The atmosphere is like a movie set. It’s all contrived to look homey and old timey but it’s utterly contrived in the very worst sense of the term. It’s fake(not unlike their sirloin). These places are loud, crowded and unpleasant in every way. Let’s face it, if you’re a fan, you love this place as many people clearly do. But I don’t. And sadly, if you don’t, you’re in for a miserable experience.

Went here for brunch with the kids today. I’ve been here before, it was ok, nothing extraordinary. Similar to the Village Inn. Except I think the pancakes are way better here than the village in and there huge. My son ordered a medium steak and it was well done. No biggie, returned it and got a new one. Overall the staff was pretty nice except for one staff member following me around in the shop. Maybe because I am hispanic, lol. Would go again for the pancakes, but then I hardly ever eat pancakes.

Love their food but the staff at this location are terrible! Carry out is an absolute nightmare! It doesn’t matter if you call in advance its never easy when they say it will be and you have to stay on them to check the back otherwise it will be sitting there getting cold. Just recently I called and ordered a half dozen of biscuits with butter to go at 9:30 am. She said 5 minutes, I gave them 10 when I got there I had to wait another 10 minutes! Seriously?! Finally the hostess went back to find out what the problem was. It’s not like they were out I watched plate after plate go to customers dining in. The manager kept telling me they were coming, the same guy who couldn’t figure out how to pull my ticket so I could pay. How can the manager not know how to work the register. I have a feeling the issue at this location is from the top down.

Get there before 9am otherwise you will have a long wait. Love the little store front, you can find old fashion candies and goodies and purchase cute gifts. Food is good and syrup is real maple!

This chains reputation is so good that it really shocks me when I have a bad experience at one of their restaurants. Sunday was a typically busy day here… full house, 15 min. wait at 11:10AM. Finally seated, and immediately greeted by our waitress; drink order taken right away and quickly delivered. Ordered one veggie platter and one sampler platter, and this is were our disappointment started. Our waitress had asked if we wanted our salads first and we said yes. It took a while, but we finally got our salads. However, our platters then arrived 30 seconds later… not exactly our idea of getting salad«first». The sampler platter was rather odd looking… the meat portions very small. Meatloaf looked like a leftover piece dug out of the pan, slice of ham just thrown on plate, and the chicken & dumplings with one small piece of chicken amidst a load of dumpling pieces. The cabbage(veggie of the day) very watery, lacking taste and not enough bacon or ham pieces. The veggie platter, poorly presented… baked sweet potato, poorly opened, had cinnamon scattered around potato instead of in it and potato itself was smallest I’ve ever been served. One last thing… we love good, attentive service, up to a point… being interrupted 7 or 8 times during our meal by our waitresses«Is everything ok?, do you want more tea, do you want tea to go, are you sure, blah, blah, blah»…that’s way too much! PS: wife and I both feeling ill(diarrhea and upset stomach) after this lunch. Can’t say for sure that it was the food, but I can say it’s the first time we’ve ever felt that way after a meal at Cracker Barrell.

Food is consistent service is good and who doesn’t like being able to eat breakfast anytime of day. The part I like the best is that it is super cheap every time. Eat until you get your fill and then some and it’s still cheap. I like the family atmosphere lots of folks with family gathered around sharing each other company over some decent food. We will always come back again.

We are a family of 6 and never have bad service here. The food is always cooked the way we request, even when I had diet limitations during my pregnancy.

Usually Cracker Barrell is one of my favorite places to eat. However, in this case I have to say that it wasn’t what it used to be. Our waitress was friendly though a little forgetful since she didn’t exactly bring what one of us girls had ordered(which was crispy hashbrowns). We didn’t worry about it to much and ate it anyways(well one of us did). The food was okay. it just wasn’t what it used to be. Food was thrown carelessly on each plate and it wasn’t really hot anymore either. We ate it but we agreed that we probably wouldn’t return to this location again. Unfortunately. The restrooms were okay, not all that clean but usable. The store had nice items as they always do. If I wouldn’t have to ship it and risk it being broken I’d go crazy shopping in this place … absolutely beautiful. My suggestion: It’s ok to eat there but it isn’t what it used to be when it comes to the quality of the food.

I have not had a bad experience at any cracker barrel. This was the one time one of the patrons in the place said some racist stuff and the waitress told her manager and she apologized for them because it mad her mad.(im hey at 30 somethings are expected you can get mad or keep living) any way. I had the meat loaf and my fiancé had the Cat Fish with the nuts It was AMAZING. as you can see I was many miles from Jacksonville but this will probably be my new CB since we just moved to the area

You can never fail with Cracker Barrel and this place is no expection. Excellent service and friendly staff. The food is always delicious and the pricing is reasonable. And you get to do a little shopping after your meal. There’s never a wait time except post church on Sundays and even then it’s minimal. Love this place!

Well it’s been awhile since I had a updated review on Cracker Barrel Old Country Store — The Brandon Location. Let’s see what is there to write about this place. The food is great, cook the way you always wanted your entrée cooked/prepared when you receive it in front of you. Drink refills are always fast and refilled with no asking the waiter or waitresses for drink refills. The restaurant cleanliness is very well clean and kept up with nothing to worry about from the last group of customers. Every now and then when it’s busy there the waiters and waitresses over looks the dirty tables and floors but they will clean it up. Now for the restrooms, always clean and kept up who would want to walk in to the restroom and see it nasty smelling, over flowing, no towels, no anti bacterial soap for great hand hygiene, tissue paper and paper towels we gotta be clean and hygiene!

When we arrived we were seated immediately, waitress came over took our drink order. She brought our drinks back asked if we were ready placed our order and our food took awhile to get there and when they brought out the pancakes and the French toast they didn’t bring out any syrup. The food was hot and delicious just the service was lacking.

This place is a step up from Denny’s or a Ihop. Breakfast is served all day and the food is good and service is friendly and fast. Breakfast menu was lacking omelettes, but the items I ordered were delicious.

Great place with prompt service. I ordered some breakfast combo that had catfish. You can’t go wrong with fish and grits right? Maybe it’s a southern thing idk but the catfish was fried to a crispy golden crunchy brown perfection. Plus it was seasoned well, but the grits. oh the grits were the demise of the plate. They were a watery, bland, mushy mess. Not allowing those grits to rain on my breakfast parade, I pushed them aside and enjoyed everything else on my plate which was delish. Hashbrown casserole was cheesy heaven. I must warn you, dont get the Egg Beater eggs. I was trying to cut a few calories… what a mistake, they’re terrible. Now the real reason I gave this a 4 star review was because of my husband’s butter pecan pancakes. Oh my goodness they were good, no they were slap your mama good! I’ve had butter pecan pancakes before and you basically have to hunt for the pecans. The pancakes here boast large pecan pieces that give you just the right about of crunch. Lucky for hubby he had three large pancakes, I was able to steal ½ of a pancake without risking divorce. I will definitely return for more catfish and more pancakes for sure!
