Hampton Inn Van Buren

Ashley at the front desk was very friendly. Room accommodations were up to the typical standard. I saw another review were somebody commented on the bath tub. I would have to agree I don’t think the tub would be very suitable for children but we have no children with us so it was fine for us. The breakfast was OK but I’ve had much better breakfast at Hamptons in the past. It seemed easy to hear the people in the room next to you. Overall the stay was nice. A lot of nearby convenience in walking distance.

The room was clean and neat. The front desk staff efficient and courteous. The bed was hard, not very comfortable…
The free breakfast was not worth the price… Every table dirty, the selection very poor and lacking and dried out — this is at 7:45; can’t imagine how bad it’s going to be later. The person responsible for cleaning and stocking was standing around talking to other staff.
I recommend eating elsewhere.

The 4 star rating has nothing to do with the hotel staff. They were absolutely the best. It was the shape of the bathtub that made taking a shower so uncomfortable. I think it is odd to have a bathtub shaped like horse trough with a rounded bottom instead of flat.
The hotel was clean and the southern hospitality shown to us at breakfast was exceptional. The desk staff was very friendly and made our 4 night stay enjoyable. The location is adjacent to I-​40 yet beautifully secluded nestled in the trees. We ate at La Fiesta (good) and enjoyed our meal at Frank’s Italian (within walking distance). Braum’s ice cream is not far and is always a good stop during the hot summer months. Wal-​Mart is within walking distance.

We checked in without reservations and we’re greeted by Cody and Melissa. Both were great & greeted us like old friends. The hotel is nice and that is what I enjoy about Hampton-​good consistent rooms and hotels. I would recommend this hotel and hats off to the staff!

This is a wonderful hotel! Staff is helpful, rooms are nice (especially if you are upgraded like we are!) and the breakfast is good. Good location (go down to the stop light when you leave), both close to the Interstate and close to some quality restaurants.
Never have stayed to visit the area, but plan to.
HHonors Diamond members will be especially pleased with their rooms, if an upgrade is available you will get a very nice small suite.

I stopped here on a road trip and the room was what I expected from a Hampton Inn. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a fairly quiet area for being so close to the interstate. However I did have some problems. The Internet was very slow, so slow it was unusable and half of the TV channels were unavailable. I expected my receipt to be left under the door but instead I had to wait at the front desk for 5 to 10 minutes for someone show up and get me a receipt.

Found the location pretty quick since its right off the freeway. Walked in and it look new. I checked in at a good time. Wasn’t any body at the hotel so my 2 boys enjoyed the pool all to themselves. The pool was clean and the right size for the family. Only bad thing was there was not refrigerator in the room. Clean rooms. We had the 2 queen beds. Staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is waking distance to restaurants. The price was a good deal for a family of four on a road trip. Breakfast was great. It was till 10 am so we didn’t have to get up right away. I will come back.
