They give good portions. However, the food was very salty and bland. Also, the people that work there aren’t so friendly. I know it’s hard to rate a fast food place. But I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Big portions of meat… that is a huge plus; however, the quality of the meat is a hit-and-miss. Sometimes they throw all the extra fatty meat in with the good meat; so sometimes getting the extra portion of meat doesn’t pay off in the end. They have the frequent stamp card, which helps in the long run. They also blast their TV up at the max that the volume can go, all so that the employees behind the counter can listen and watch… I know this because I saw the employee lady just glued to the TV when there was not customers in line. Why do we all have to suffer, because you want to blast the TV really loud? Is the TV there for the employees or customers? They do not have a huge variety of meat items to pick from. The taste of the food is descent.

Not the best and not the worst. This restaurant is great for fresh soup made on the spot, their food is very delicious, it hits the spot, they serve big portions and a two portion meal can feed two or three people at the same time, their service is quick and fast… The quality of the food is pretty good it’s almost as good as panda express depending on who still likes Panda Express, their orange chicken is tasty, their beef and broccoli is chewy at times. But you can’t beat the prices and cozy atmosphere, why not give it a shot if you’re looking for that hole in the wall quick and easy go Chinese food spot… cheers!

I just went over to this place about an hour ago. I have been a regular customer in there for a little while. I had one of those stamp cards and filled my card up. I received a free one item combo and ordered a two item combo. At the end of my transaction, I asked the woman if I could have 3 fortune cookies and she replies, «I will give you two for the two combos you ordered.» Well, let’s just say I won’t be a patron in this establishment anymore. They don’t give you any fortune cookies either unless you specifically ask. I feel it was really petty of this employee not to give me one extra cookie. I wasn’t asking for six cookies. I am very disappointed in this company.

Good orange chicken! Portions are huge for $ 6! Your plate can not close properly because it’s so full! The only item that isn’t up to par is the noodles for the chow mien. Everything else is good. Never crowded to the point where you want to leave. may be hard to find parking because if the supermarket next to it! Cheap and fulfilling!

Friendly and courteous staff makes this place my five-star go to Chinese hole in the wall spot! Everyone seems to know each other here! Staff treats people like family. It’s no wonder why I love this new spot. I also like that they accept credit cards, as most Chinese food places around this neighborhood don’t. For less than seven dollars you have yourself a complete meal! Just take a look at the picture, they don’t skimp on food. :)

The orange chicken here is the only reason why I support China Express Grill. Here, they have mastered the art of the crisp that other fast food Chinese restaurants have failed to perfect. Unlike the soggy and often oversaturated flavor in other orange chicken, China express grill has just the right amount of sauce and crisp to their orange chicken. All the other entrees are mediocre at best but if you’re dying for some decent orange chicken, come here! They lack the 2 stars from perfect because their other entrees are average. Service is good, because they always get you served in a timely manner but it is quite a small restaurant. Nevertheless, it is much better for the price you pay than that of O. K Chinese Food down the street.

This is one of my go-to places for simple and fast Chinese food. I’ve been coming here for years and they’ve never disappointed my cravings. They always over-stuff the boxes so you can bet you’re dollar will go a long way. They’ve never willingly given me a sample of anything, but you can always ask and it’s never a problem, so you know they’re not stingy. This place probably has one of the best orange chicken’s around the area because it’s always got a nice crisp to it, never soggy, which is just how I like it. Other than that, nothing really out of the ordinary.

Right off the bat: Food quality — it’s fresh, hot but not by any standard gourmet. Heavy portions and taste Pricing — exquisite. Very fair for the late portions of freshly cooked food. Dine in experience– it’s a small place but the staff if courteous and accommodating. It’s hardly ever full here when I’ve gone. That’s not to say that it’s always empty, but that the food is always available and service moves quickly and efficiently. I’ve been coming here for, geez, like 4 years now. They’re the best mom and pop Chinese place I’ve found. Parking is plentiful, and they stay open Til the lasting te of you’re running a bit late. Ok overall.

I love this joint. Cheap food and good portions I used to stuff into my face during my short lunches while working at the nearby Albertson’s.

The only reason I ever tried this place was because of one my classmates asked me to walk over there with here during our lunch break. The food is cheap and the give you a bunch of it. And low and behold it’s actually tasty. Though I’ve only had their orange chicken, my friend swears by the teriyaki chicken. Makes for a great quick comfort food lunch. Greasy stick to your ribs Chinese food.

Food tasted mediocre. And I got food poisoning! Avoid the pork. I knew I should have gone to In-N-Out… That’s a zero-star if you ask me.

So I randomly stopped here for lunch today because I was tired of all the places across the street from work. The proportions are nice but this place is absolutely the same as every other fast food Chinese place! There is nothing wrong with that but nothing amazing here. Meh

I have been coming here since 2004 – 5 from school catering to just simply getting my lunch/dinner. If you eat in, the TV is available for you to use, thats if everyone is watching it. They give great portions and even more than you can eat.lol. I ordered my typical two item Combo. I had half and half(Rice and Chow Mein) with Beef Broccoli and Spicy Chicken for $ 4.89. I also ordered a small side of Orange Chicken for $ 1.99. If you order a large extra side, its $ 3.99, but I did not order it. Total was $ 7.55. The food was actually made by an asian chef and served by an asian woman.lol. Usually, you get that stereotype of Mexicans cooking asian-authentic foods… Oh wait… there is one nearby. A-OK Chinese Food. I am not sure why Wong’s Wok Chinese Food in North Hollywood is better. Its a little pricier and portions are small, but thats for another review later. Great place to stop by and not very crowded. You can do your grocery shopping at Lucky’s, then go to China Grill Express. Have Fun here and Keep Unilocaling!
