QUE RICO!!! Cuban! Familia! Salsa Moves! What more can I say then… I feel at home.
There’s nothing better than authentic delicious Sopa de Pollo (Chicken Soup for the Soul)…to ward off a cold… eat some of this chicken soup. Seriously made with love… it will make you feel better! Squeeze a little lime in it… Yum! Anything on the menu is right on! Tostones, Maduros, Palomilla Steak with grilled onions… my mouth is watering!
The Cuban family who own this place are wonderful!!! It’s a taste of the Cuban culture for sure! The Owner… adorable…entertained us with his Cuban tales of back in the day… and we felt like family. That is what it’s all about! The food is just an added bonus! And… Salsa classes… What more can you ask for… A night in Havana… laugh, dance, music, fun, great people and delicious authentic food… all they need is a game of dominoes! LOL
I am Cuban so I can truly say… if you want to have real Cuban food… eat here! It’s just like Mom’s cooking made with love and from the soul!

I have not eaten a lot of Cuban food so I cannot compare with other places.
I don’t eat much meat so I opted for the vegetarian options. They only have two options. One is good, the other is sort of bland. My friend and Boyfriend have tried their meat dishes and really enjoy them. It doesn’t look ethnic or even that interesting inside but it’s clean and nice and the people are all great. They have salsa dancing and lessons on Saturday Nights and DJ’s on Fri and Sun I think but I have not tried out their dancing yet. There is plenty of parking and it’s in a great location between North Hollywood, Toluca Lake and Burbank. I’ve been there about 4 times and I plan to go back but I would like to try out some other Cuban restaurants to compare.

My parents are cuban so we are always looking for some good Cuban food. Food was ok. Lacking some flavor. Service was very very slow even though they were empty.

Tasty food, great sangria & friendly family service. They make a wicked mojito & di not fear to use mucho garlic in their chicken dishes. Yummy!

I wanted to get some Cuban food last night so I went to El Criollo only to find out it has gone out of business.
